Join us for the ALL TEAM SHARE OUTS on Thursday June 9th from 4:00 - 5:15 pm PST. This will be our culminating celebration before the summer, and each team will be sharing MOELs (Moments of Extraordinary Learning) from their improvement journey this year. This will be a great opportunity to share your learning with others in our NIC, and pick up a few great ideas to inform your own work. If they haven't already, Team Leads will be reaching out soon to capture the successes, challenges and surprises you've experienced this year. We enthusiastically encourage all team members to attend!

To jumpstart our cluster learning agenda, we’re holding an informal expert consult on June 7 at 10 am PT/ 1 pm ET that features Joe McCannon, co-founder of the Billions Institute and Cynthia Coburn, a scholar who has written extensively about how ideas spread in the education sector.

McCannon, who served on the Obama Administration team that conceptualized and implemented the Affordable Care Act, has significant experience in diffusing health care improvements. The organization he co-founded—the Billions Institute—maps the social mechanisms of large-scale change with the aim of addressing society’s biggest problems.

Coburn, a scholar at the Northwestern University School of Education and Social Policy, has conducted research on the dimensions of scale—what she terms depth, sustainability, spread and shift—that shape whether new ideas find broad application.
