This trailer is so much better than the actual movie. I agree with you, it is the best trailer I have ever seen.

Interesting read.
I remember having a discussion with a more tenured coworker, with the subject being the impending departure of another coworker. I said, “man, it's going to be rough when he leaves, considering how much he's done for us over the last several years.” The person I was talking to replied in a way ...

The Monty Hall probability problem is very counter intuitive.  The explanation in the video where 100 doors are used instead of three is very good. After watching the part about the "Probability Being Concentrated" gave me another idea about how to think about this problem.

Given the probability that you will win 2/3 of the time with three doors if you switch after you have seen what is behind one of the doors that you did not pick I think is equivalent to saying the following:

"You are presented with three doors and only one door has a prize.  You may either open one door or you may open two doors."  Of course, when presented this way you ALWAYS choose to open two doors.  And you win 2/3 of the time.

As in the original problem you are always presented with one door with no prize and you may or may not find the prize behind the other door but your odds of finding the prize are certainly better when you get to open two rather than one door.  The difference here is that you choose which two doors to open rather than "Monty Hall" but the end result is identical.  In both cases you get to pick two doors rather than one door.

Nope.  Got TWC, a soon-to-be wholly owned subsidiary of the Comcast/NBC empire.

Brought my dog here based on the positive reviews on this site and regret it. My dog was terrified when I picked him up after just one day. In winter, the building (which is really just someone's house) is freezing--even inside. The staff seem either overwhelmed or not very good with animals. I could hear one of them screaming at the barking dogs outside when I came for pick up. The drop off form also has several questions about what I would want them to do in the event my dog passes away. I'd like to think they're just being thorough but I couldn't help but feel that question was on there for a reason.

This place is great if you want to have your dog run free in an unsupervised play time all day long. Our dog went here for a few months. After a while, I began to notice unusually agressive behavior from him that only started after sending him here. He began to overreact to normal play from dogs his size and bigger. It was as if he learned he needed to aggressively fight off other dogs. He is as gental and playful as ever with smaller dogs.
