Hi there. This is app is great. One thing that I would love to see made easier is jumping straight to the latest national newscast (and local news). I will often have the app running in the background for hours or a day. When I come back to it, sometimes all I have time for is just a quick run down from the newscast. Some way to quickly jump to the newscast would be great. Right now I have to keep skipping until I reach it, which isn't great when driving.

Thanks, and keep up the EXCELLENT work. I personally think this app might just be the future of NPR.

The Monty Hall probability problem is very counter intuitive.  The explanation in the video where 100 doors are used instead of three is very good. After watching the part about the "Probability Being Concentrated" gave me another idea about how to think about this problem.

Given the probability that you will win 2/3 of the time with three doors if you switch after you have seen what is behind one of the doors that you did not pick I think is equivalent to saying the following:

"You are presented with three doors and only one door has a prize.  You may either open one door or you may open two doors."  Of course, when presented this way you ALWAYS choose to open two doors.  And you win 2/3 of the time.

As in the original problem you are always presented with one door with no prize and you may or may not find the prize behind the other door but your odds of finding the prize are certainly better when you get to open two rather than one door.  The difference here is that you choose which two doors to open rather than "Monty Hall" but the end result is identical.  In both cases you get to pick two doors rather than one door.
