I wonder if I'll outlive them all. I'd rather live in a world of Scott Weilands than the thousand versions of the same vaguely urban one hit wonders we're drowning in. Shame....

Welcome to the New World Order. I knew one day it would happen and no one would realize it. Just sort of softly, like a warming pot of water.

So the system of tiers begins. My clearance is better than your clearance. Maybe soon we can use these to skip security at the movie theater so that only we star-bellied sneetches will be allowed.

(All the good stuff is on the back. The stuff on the front is already in my Google profile anyway. So no redactions).

200 year old mahogany. This wood was harvested probably from West Africa about 100 years ago and became a part of a sailing ship. That ship sat to rot and I am recovering the good pieces for flutes and other happy things.

REMEMBER: The only truly sustainable hardwood is OLD, RECYCLED hardwood.

Standard issue American Chinese food. Friendly, local. But not reliable! There was a period when they closed for months. Seemed like they went out of business. Then mysteriously, they returned.

Great local hardware of the kind that doesn't really exist much anymore. The only place to get special screws and nuts and metric hardware. Highly recommended.

Crazy, old school, local grocery. You'll find no organics and no international. It's a local grocery for local people. Weirdest thing about it? It has carpeting. I've never seen a grocery store with carpeting!

It's a beautiful location, but the state of the fort is SHAMEFUL. It seems to be the place where all kids go to smoke pot and tag. The tagging is completely unchecked by any kind of police patrol. Anywhere else this would make me feel that it was dangerous, but because it's Hull I know it's just Hull High kids being idiots. It isn't dangerous, but it isn't all that it should and could be for the town.

It is a walking path. Very small with a few historical facts on plaques. Perfect for dog walking, not so great for seeing nature.
