Unfortunately, some are misinformed about the influence of the Jezebel spirit in men. Most people are under the assumption that only women are influenced by the Jezebel spirit, but this is far from the truth.

We must remember the enemy is cunning and calculated. He would like nothing more than to focus our attention in one area, or on one person, while causing chaos and destruction in another.

When destruction happens, it is often targeted at people or groups that are intended to glorify God, such as the Church, ministries, marriages, and families. To avoid confusion, both men and women can operate out of the Jezebel spirit.

Characteristics: The Jezebel spirit operates in men similarly to how it operates in women. There are numerous characteristics to this purely evil spirit, but most fall within these categories:

Feigned repentance

Have you encountered the Jezebel spirit?

These characteristics may describe several different evil spirits, but what makes the Jezebel spirit so dangerous is its seductive and even religious traits. It fuels immorality in our government and the Church, causing confusion and grief.

Here are a few of the ways the Jezebel spirit operates through men:

Initially comes across very strong and powerful, but also has a sensitive side, which changes quickly into a victim role.

The charming initial impression manipulates those around him to do its will at the cost of hurting others. Then playing the victim.

The controlling manner of the Jezebel spirit can be condescending and insubordinate.

It feigns sincere human emotions. The Jezebel spirit can mimic honesty, integrity, and other virtues, but soon the truth is revealed and anger erupts.
After the emotions are “loosed,” he will appear sorrowful, but never admitting guilt. This is only to return to a state of control through manipulation.
If this describes you or someone you know, we strongly encourage you to watch the full message of 40 Signs You are Being Destroyed by Jezebel and a Religious Spirit.

Today, you have a choice. You can choose to come before God, repent of Jezebel’s influence over your life and believing its lies, then come out of agreement with it. Or you can continue to walk in defeat.

What will you choose?

Remember who you are, and who your Father is…

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”—1 Corinthians 15:57

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”—Psalm 46:1

Do not be afraid of this spirit. Choose to acknowledge areas in your life where the Jezebel spirit has impacted you, and kneel before your Father’s throne. Ask Him to give you the strength and courage to walk away.

Use caution and wisdom. The Lord warns us not to take this spirit head-on. It will only place you in harm’s way.

“Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.”—Romans 12:19
“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense, their foot shall slip in due time…”—Deuteronomy 32:35
Allow the Lord to deal with this stronghold in your life. You are not alone.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”—Ephesians 6:18

We would love to encourage and pray with you. Prayer is powerful and essential in times of warfare. Contact our prayer team and schedule 1-on-1 prayer today

I’ve been sharing with our congregation that we are going through a time of testing, as God is allowing tests in our lives in this season so that we might be perfected in Him to answer our call. You must remember through trials and tribulation that “Pain is temporary, but quitting is permanent!”

We pray things like: “More, Lord! Use me, Lord! Change me, Lord!” So then when the Lord starts giving us instructions on what it takes to move forward, we must take steps of faith to be able to accomplish the task.

Often the small steps taken are what make it possible for us to take giant leaps in the future!

However, when the times of testing come to prune our attitudes, behavior and general character conditions, we sometimes mentally process this testing and pruning as an attack from the enemy. In reality God is changing issues in our personality, disposition, and temperament to match up with the promotion of our calling.

We have to understand protocol… Have you ever noticed that the people at different levels of #business behave differently? Those working at the top do not operate like those working at the bottom. There are different standards and expectations.

This is also true in the spirit realm. #God is molding us into the people we are called to be. He is asking greater things of us, because we cannot take second-day behaviors into our third-day callings.

So many in today’s Church unfortunately do not understand the heritage from which they come. Sadly, many subscribe to replacement theology doctrines that assume Israel plays no significant role in the Body of Christ. This theology can creep into the very fiber of a Believer’s doctrinal beliefs, literally replacing the role of Israel with the Church.

Some of you may have heard of these theories, while others may not. In order to help you understand more, we have defined this theological belief system in greater detail here…

Replacement Theology or Supersessionism:

Supersessionism teaches that the Church has replaced the role of Israel in God’s original plan. This belief supports the ideas that the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people, and that His end-time plan no longer has a specific focus or future for the Jewish people.

These thoughts are taken a step further with positions stating that the many promises once made to Israel in the Bible are no longer theirs, but belong instead to the Christian Church. The prophecies by the Jewish prophets in scripture are thought to no longer concern the nation of Israel, but are spiritualized to embody the Church alone.

The problem with these suppositions is evident, primarily in the fact that the prophecies of the ancient Jewish prophets, found within the context of the Old Testament, continue to be fulfilled through the Jewish people and her nation, Israel.

While many replacement theologies believe that the Jewish people have been condemned by God because of their original blindness to Jesus as their Messiah, the truth is that through almost 2,000 years of exile, persecution, and mass murder, greater numbers of Jews are immigrating to their ancestor’s homeland than ever before.

“’Therefore behold, the days are coming’ says the Lord, ‘that it shall no more said, “The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,” but, “The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from the lands where He had driven them.” For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.’”—Jeremiah 16:14-15

So how, knowing this, and comparing the scripture to what is happening in this present day, can there still be so many who hold on to these incorrect assumptions?

What many fail to understand is that early Church history shows a resounding connection with the Jewish roots from which it came. Yet, by the end of the 4th century a terrifying twist began to take place, one that would eventually separate the Christian faith from its original Jewish source. In its place had arisen a false doctrine, fueled by antisemitism, creating a chasm where the connection between the two became lost.

The transformation is evident when traced down through the centuries of time: [i]

The 2nd century account of “The Martyrdom of Polycarp” mentions that Jews gathered wood for the burning of Polycarp, who was a bishop of Ephesus and a disciple of the apostle
By the 4th century there is a strong element of anti-Jewishness in the
AD 306 – The Council at Elvira forbade Christians from receiving a blessing from the Jews, or Jews blessing their lands, which flies in the face of one of the purposes of the Jewish nation—to bless the
AD 325 – In the Council of Nicea no Jewish bishops were Constantine called the council together and urged them to disassociate from anything Jewish. The Western calendar for observing the resurrection of Yeshua was one of the outcomes of this council.
AD 331-396 – Gregory of Nyssa describes the Jews as “slayers of the Lord, murderers of the prophets, enemies of God, haters of God, adversaries of grace…”
AD 340-420 – Jerome had a personal relationship with rabbis, but still calls the Jews “serpents, haters of all men…”
4th century – John Chrysostom said, “They worship the devil; assemblies of criminals. God hates the Jews. They are absolutely abandoned, no expiation, no indulgence, no pardon.
Augustine called Jews “witness people,” which meant that their destiny was to be a witness of what happens to a race of people who deny Christ, even while continuing to encourage preaching to Jews.
AD 589 – The Council of Toledo forbade Jews from holding public off
AD 612-621 – King Sisebut demanded either baptism or
AD 570-636 – Isidore of Seville forbade forced baptisms, but if children were baptized to save their lives, they had to be taken from their parents & reared Catholic. (In some situations Jewish people were given a choice of baptism or death, which essentially “forced” baptism upon them.)
AD 1096 – First Crusade against the Jews, killing those who refused baptism.
AD 1146 – Second Crusade was the same.
12th century – The accusation arose that Jews were killing Christians, especially children, and using their blood to drink for Passover.
AD 1179 & 1215 – Lateran Councils ordered separate quarters and distinctive clothes for Jews, a precursor for the distinctive clothing ordered by the Nazis in 20th century Germ
AD 1357 to 1350 – During the Black Death Jews were accused of poisoning the wells, thus causing the Some of this may have come from the fact that many Jewish people were observing the health laws of Tanakh and were thus not getting sick.
16th century – Martin Luther was at first positive, thinking Jews would “convert,” but he later became virulent in his “God hates them…”
19th century – During the pogroms there were 100,000 Jewish immigrants Most came to the United States.
Hitler defended his position on the Jews by saying, “I believe that I am today acting in accordance with the will of Almighty Creator; by defending myself against the I am fighting for the work of the Lord.”
In the “Christian” (Roman Catholic and Lutheran) nation of Germany:
1935 – The Nuremberg Laws, renouncing Jewish citizenship were passed.
November 10, 1938 – Krystallnacht was the night during which Jewish stores were vandalized all over Germany, confiscating and robbing Jewish people of their wealth.

While the Jewish roots of the faith have long been ignored by much of the Church, there are still many who have begun to connect the dots where historically the connection between our original sources had been hidden. A new movement has begun where so many within the Body of Christ are longing to relate with the Hebrew God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. To do this we must understand His plan for the nation of Israel and her people. We must come to the revelation that while many in the Church-world have professed that God has officially rejected His first love, the evidence of His favor towards the Jewish people is greater today than EVER before.

As Believer’s in Christ, it is our duty to stand and silence the voices that wish to see the nation of Israel destroyed. It is quite disturbing that any Christian group would support violence or planned boycotts in hopes to destroy Israel’s thriving economy. It is our role to stand against the tyranny of present-day anti-Semitism and point to the ancient God of the Hebrew children who is still working today to fulfill biblical prophecy. God continues to bring the Jewish people into the land of their promise, so that they might be a light to the nations—a light for all to see the truth of a loving heavenly Father who cherishes His children.

When the Church at large begins to grasp the fact that we have been invited into the Jewish story by an act of His infinite mercy, we then better understand that by rejecting the chosen people, we are literally neglecting the very seed from which our blessings are revealed. No, God has not rejected His people forever. He is a faithful God—one who always keeps His promises.

“I ask then: Did God reject His people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin… Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring! I am talking to you Gentiles. In as much as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the part of the dough offered as first fruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, ‘Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.’ Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you either”—Romans 11:1, 11-21 (NIV)

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.’ For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, ‘Peace be within you.’”—Psalm 122:6-8

Could the following be a key to turning, or stopping Hurricane Irma from reaching Florida and the East Coast of the United States? And if so, what harm would it cause for the Body of Christ to rise up in intercession, as a collective unified force in the midst of this imminent and crucial hour, to reach out to very throne of God with our decrees?

It was only a mere two weeks ago that the United States witnessed an extremely rare full solar eclipse that reached across the breadth of this nation, from the Pacific to the Atlantic, connecting the dots of seven cities named Salem—from Salem, Oregon to Salem, South Carolina. And then, within 4 days, Hurricane Harvey hit Corpus Christi, Texas with deadly force and record-breaking rainfall, causing massive flooding, and leaving death and destruction in the wake of the storm. And now, the United States is once again poised and looking down, what appears to be the shotgun barrel of yet another natural disaster… Hurricane Irma!

Could it be that God had issued a decree in the courts of Heaven, with the sign of the solar eclipse that crossed the United States on August 21st, that judgment has been released into the atmosphere over our land? Could it be that He is saying, “Enough is enough”?
It is estimated that 44 to 55 billion dollars in home real estate loss was realized in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and has already shutdown about 16 percent of this countries gas refining capacities… so gas prices are now on the rise.

As of this hour, the total financial loss as a result of Hurricane Harvey is estimated to reach over 108 billion dollars. Our government is big, but not big enough to stand another financial loss of that size and weight.

So my point is this… We need to spiritually intervene and STOP these storms. If the Bible says that we have control over the weather and over our blessed land, then we need to know how to fine-tune our intercession into a collective unified force.

Could it be that we can turn this?
We now have another hurricane coming; this time toward the East Coast of America named Irma, which means ‘war goddess; the world.’ We had Harvey, which means battle worthy, battle ready, eager for battle, warrior, that came through Corpus Christi, which means, “The Body of Christ,” and now Irma is threatening to make landfall in the United States within hours. So we have the Body of Christ being awakened, and now “a war goddess of the world” is coming toward America.

The Lord has given me a strategy of how to pray and send Irma back into the Atlantic where she will die. So, I want to ask, “Even if we pray and it doesn’t go as planned, what do we have to lose?”

All that I can say is that if Hurricane Irma hits strategic locations on the East Coast it will be much worse than the devastation in the Houston area from Hurricane Harvey, because the population on the East Coast is much more dense.

Consider this from an unsaved Jewish Rabbi…
“’[While] it is forbidden to attribute divine motivations to such disasters,’ Rabbi Yosef Dayan, a former member of the nascent Sanhedrin, told Breaking Israel News, ‘an introspective process is clearly necessary.’” [i]

So what he is saying is that this is a time of self-introspection. This is a time to search our hearts and ask questions instead of pointing fingers and making comments about who opened their doors to help in the aftermath of Harvey, or who did not open their doors to help.

This is clearly a critical time to seek God’s face.
If we don’t understand the cause and effect of nature with God, and our responsibilities with the dominion that we have been given through Yeshua, Jesus, then we are without hope to change the atmosphere, our future, and our destinies.

God has clearly given us dominion and authority through the name of Jesus.

Many people today talk about the “wealth transfer.” There are many of ideas about how and when this transfer will take place. The bottom line is that the Lord of all creation has given us great abundance, wealth and inheritance. He has called us to be good stewards of this plentiful supply.
What Type of Soil is Covering Your Roots?

Primarily, we must allow God to cleanse all contamination out of our root system. It is imperative that there is a covering of good soil over your roots. What does this mean? It means that you need to surround yourself with mature Believers and become a part of a house that has a personal interest in not exposing your flaws… but lovingly covering you in blessings.

You are the trees planted among the living water. We want to activate roots that are deep within and invite the Spirit in to change us.

There is Order in God’s Land… It is not a land of confusion.

I have been saying for many years, as have other trusted prophetic voices, that there is a transfer that will soon take place—a transfer of great financial wealth. This will come to the remnant in the Body of Christ who have been faithful to sow into the Kingdom. Many have shared that, “the camels are coming,” but as with everything there is a season and preparation process. There is an order in God’s land. You can be certain that God is always on time, and although many of us expected the return on this prophetic word to come right away, we have yet to see its results. We can be certain that He will prime and prep us before it arrives. He does this in order that the new will stick and not chip.

What is This Divine Order of Wealth Transfer?

First, just as we commemorate Passover in the spring, there is a deliverance that accompanies this time, as well. This symbolizes the removal of sin. The covering of blood over the door and over our lives signifies a great deliverance and covenant that has taken place.
“For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”—Matthew 26:28

To follow, the Lord allows the tests and trials to happen. This allows a cleansing of any mixture out of your root system. During this season, we must humble ourselves in prayer.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way of everlasting.”—Psalm 139:23-24

After the season of test and trials, there is an awakening blast. This sound of the trumpet is to reflect on what you learned in the battle and rejoice in God’s faithfulness.
“Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”—Numbers 10:10

Lastly you realize that you need an atonement. There is revelation on not what do I get, but who you get. Your submission says, “I cannot do this anymore.” All of a sudden, the things that were once important don’t become important anymore. You never see God without being tested during the season of trials.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things shall be added to you.”—Matthew 6:33

Wealth Transfer and the Great Commission

When I’m talking about the transfer of wealth, it is NOT about how big the ministry will get, but rather, how small can we get and how LARGE will He manifest His glory. We must become less… and He must become more.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.”—John 3:30

When covenant with God was broken in the garden it cursed the land, but when we broke covenant with Abraham that cursed the people. Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you…” The Bible has instruction for us. Do we want to be found on God’s side?

Coming Together as the One New Man Ignites the Great Commission…

We are part of God’s plan to bring nations together. The One New Man demonstrates the reconciliation of Yeshua’s blood. The Lord makes us stones that we may come boldly to the throne. The focus is bringing glory to the one true God, and others will be drawn to it. We have the power of the blood, because what Abraham couldn’t do, Christ did. He restored covenant for ALL men. The only way to the glory is through the blood.

We are a generation that has become so diluted with false doctrine and anticipation on what might be coming or what we think will happen, that we are likely to miss out on what actually will come. It will be much more holy, pure and powerful than we could ever anticipate.

There is a power that is coming. He is transferring wealth to ministries that will truly show Christ to others. The transfer will not go to those who build themselves up, but to those who focus on the saving power of Yeshua’s blood.

Be a part of your Father’s business…

With contamination on what might come we must be persevere in the midst of the battle, casting out anything accomplished through a religious spirit. Get in a place of godliness and contentment, this has great gains. The Lord paid for it all. When you focus on seeking His Kingdom and His business, you will then receive the transfer.

Pray wholeheartedly, that you want a pure infilling of what the Lord has in store for you.

The Holy Spirit will flow in you and through you, and into His Kingdom… then there will be a Shalom—a peace—overcome you that you have never experienced before.

A Business Analysis…

The motive behind you blessing Israel is not to be blessed, but because God wants to bless her. There have been times when we have blessed Israel and there was no manifestation of blessing back. You see, this is part of the test. We will continue to bless!

What is Your Motive?

God wants to purify the intention. Ask yourself in truth, “What is my motive? To build my kingdom, to be blessed… or?” There is only one reason to bless… and that is to be about your Father’s business.

Deuteronomy 8:18 says to ”…remember the Lord your God.” He is establishing His covenant within you for His reputation. Pray that He searches and knows your heart so that you do not interfere with His testimony. He’s looking for vessels to manifest in and testify through in order to demonstrate His goodness for the Kingdom.

A Circumcision of the Heart…

Ephesians 2:11 says, “Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called Circumcision made in the flesh by hands. ” No redemption of sin is carried out without the shedding of blood: Passover, Yom Kipper, circumcision, the Cross—all involve the shedding of blood.

His blood changes your blood. When that happens a blood transfusion takes place and you realize you are sons and daughters. The DNA of who you are is silenced by the DNA of who you can be in Christ. This has to be a circumcision of the heart.

Circumcision is of where we produce there is a price to pay. A sign of being under that instruction of God and being aware and concerned about where my seed goes. And that when it reproduces it does after the instruction that came from God.

Releasing and Activating the Transfer

“He sent His word and healed them; and delivered them from their destructions.”—Psalm 107:20

Do you want to partner with the Lord in stewardship of His people and His land? Make yourself available for a transformation and activate it by faith!

Preparation is everything. When you say that you want a transfer, He will sift out impurities and sand down the edges. The Lord continuously shapes you into the image of His Son. He wants the new to stick, therefore He must cleanse the contaminates. Prepare yourself for the preparation process.
He’ll use His Word. As you read the Word of God in the preparation process you will notice He speaks to you in ways He never has before. Verses will reveal any issues of the heart. How you respond is important. He will show you wounds in your roots. Allow the Lord to fix, fill and restore them.
“For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”—Hebrews 4:12

Love and worship the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul. Those who listen and receive instruction for the purpose, will boast in the Lord. The worship in there heart will be honorable. Your generosity reflects your worship life. If there is an imbalance there will be confusion.
Trust God’s righteousness. When we don’t trust we are immediately cursed to try to prove that we are right. When you trust, there is no pressure on you to try to prove anything to anyone. This is why the Lord must heal you at the root. Be around encouraging friends that forgive continuously.
Remember. The act of remembering is mentioned over and over in the Bible. Why??? Because we forget so easily. Develop a system of remembering the Lord daily. Honor Him and spend some quality time with Him.
Pray. This part of activation is imperative. Pray that the Lord will purify any spots and heal you. Ask Him to bless you to protect the His reputation. Pray a prayer of submission: “I am available to be a testimony. Finish Your testimony in me. I activate it in Yeshua’s Name.”

Recently, Pastor Tim Alsbaugh shared a message entitled, “Kingdom Principles Review.” This review dealt specifically with financial giving and how that relates in context to the Word of God.

What is an offering? What does the Lord require of us?

You see, from the very beginning—in the earliest pages of the Bible—from Cain and Abel… to Abraham… and on throughout the prophets, we see the story unfold about ‘offerings’ and what they really mean. Our offerings are not meant to buy an audience with God, but to bring us into His presence for relationship and loving fellowship with Him. It’s all about honor and relationship.

There are four types of giving, or offerings, and the Kingdom principles associated with them. Each offering has a particular way of touching God’s heart. When a person’s heart is turned toward the Lord with offering, then God’s heart turns toward that individual yearning for a closer and deeper relationship.

1. TITHE—This is a connection of our relationship with God; a picture of the covenant that we have with Him. This 10% tithe belongs to the Lord because of covenant.

“‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.’”—Malachi 3:10

God instructed us to give a tithe so as we can partner with Him. When we choose to worship the Lord with our giving, we are not only placing a demand on our seed to reap a bountiful harvest, but we are expressing our dependence upon God… not for financial gain.

FIRST FRUITS—Terumah, is generally 2% and is not required like the tithe, but our motive to give Terumah is through generosity.
“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”—Proverbs 3:9-10

SEED—Each year our congregation sows generous gifts at the three pilgrim Feasts of the Lord. These are not mandatory, as they are above and beyond our tithe and first fruits gifts. We see these as opportunities to sow an offering in very nutrient rich soil, and because of this we expect an abundant return.
ALMS—Our alms are righteous acts, charitable deeds to our fellow man. Giving alms gets God’s attention. They rise as incense, as a memorial before God, and allow an opening for a blessing to come back to us. This offering reflects the loving relationship that we have with our Father God through the loving-kindness that we show to our fellow man. It always brings a blessing!
“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, ‘Cornelius!’ And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, ‘What is it, lord?’ So he said to him, ‘Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.’”—Acts 10:1-4

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.”—Matthew 6:1-4

In the first part of our series, Path of Life [Click Here], we discussed how to activate God’s peaceful presence in your life. What happens when you are noticing that your joy and peace are starting to plummet? When we decide to establish God’s principles to our everyday lives, we begin to experience Him in new ways. However, we can easily fall back into old habits and start to believe in the enemy’s lies that tell us the things of this world will bring us joy. This leaves us once again with downcast hearts.

If you notice your joy and peace starting to sink, this is a time to take up your sword of the Spirit, God’s Word, and proclaim His truth over your life!

You have experienced God’s peace and joy. Then something happens… life! Your spouse says something. Your co-worker does something. Your kids are disobedient. You find anger, resentment and bitterness starting to creep back into your thoughts. You begin to think of how you dealt with these situations in the past and are tempted to go back to those same habits again.

If we fall back into habits that are not of God, our plans will end in destruction. However, when we set our minds and hearts on things above, the peace and joy of the LORD will follow.

“Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy.”—Proverbs 12:20
Here are a few practical ways that you can reactivate a peaceful heart…

Praise God for who He is! This is key. When you praise God, His truth dwells in you. He begins to soften your heart; therefore you learn more about who He is and His will for your life.
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”—Colossians 3:16
Proclaim who you are in Christ! Meditate on how God has made you new and spiritually alive.
I am forgiven—Ephesians 1:7-8
I am complete—Colossians 2:9-10
I am secure—Romans 8:31-39
I am being transformed—2 Corinthians 3:18
I am an heir of God—Romans 8:17
Proclaim truth! Speak and think God’s truth over your life.
“…the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”—1 John 4:4

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”—Lamentations 3:22-23

“The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.”—Psalm 118:24
Remember… the enemy must flee in the presence of God. Be on guard, as the enemy will prowl around looking for ways to steal your joy again. He will remind you of bitterness or anger you once felt, but because you are a new creation in Christ, you have the power and authority to cast those thoughts far away and take refuge in the LORD. You can rest assured in knowing that He is your refuge.

As you praise God for who He is, proclaim who you are in Christ, and proclaim and invite His truth into your heart, peace will begin to wash over you, body, soul and spirit. Your circumstances may not change immediately, however your joy and peace will begin to overflow as your mind is renewed and your heart is transformed.

The key to moving on from unhealthy #relationships is you must first choose to walk in forgiveness. If you do not, all you are doing is building another bridge for the enemy to steal your blessings. You need to choose to #forgive. You need to choose release your expectations. Daily #prophetic word from PowerPoints by CurtLandry

What is compassion? The Hebrew and Greek words for compassion translate to “showing mercy, pity, concern for, or to act kindly.” Does your heart ache for the things that break God’s heart? Then you have the tender loving gift of compassion. When you see others hurting and in need of hope and peace, your compassionate heart reaches out to them in gentle kindness. Give thanks to God for this charitable gift as it reflects His loving character!

What does God say about compassion…?

The Bible says God is compassionate and merciful. His attribute of compassion is eternal and never failing. Because of His character, His mercy towards us is new every morning, and He has bestowed this gift upon you to be a reflection of Him!

“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.”—Psalm 145:8
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”—2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Through God’s compassion, He not only comforts us, but also strengthens and helps us. Your gift of compassion allows you to be moved into action to share Christ when you are with others in their pain. This flows from your understanding of who God is and how He shows mercy to you.

What compassion is not…

Compassion is a Godly Strength that the enemy will attempt to twist and turn. Be aware that your compassion does not turn into bitterness when difficulties arise. #Satan wants to distract you from this powerful gift, knowing that you are walking in the Spirit when you exhibit this Godly character towards others. Ask God to show you when your heart grows hard and to turn it back to Him.

Be encouraged…

#God promises to reward those who have compassion on the less fortunate. #Jesus said…

“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”—Matthew 25:40

This is a magnificent image of how we are to have compassion for the needy and by this we are also welcoming Christ. There is a reward in the Kingdom of Heaven to those who serve here on earth. The gift of compassion is truly beautiful as it expresses the heart of our Father and Savior. May you use your gift to comfort others and lead them in the knowledge of Jesus.

We encourage you to pray, giving thanks to the LORD for this gracious gift. We want to strengthen you in prayer, and are standing by at 888-932-7850 to pray with you. We will pray that God continues to grow the gift of compassion in you, rewarding you with spiritual riches!
