ULTRA-LOW PHASE NOISE VCXO FROM CRYSTEK - CVSS-945

Fort Myers, FL – December 1, 2016 - Crystek continues to smash phase noise performance with our Ultra Low Phase Noise performance family of products. The CVSS-945 Model True Sinewave Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO) hits the phase noise floor of -179.7 dBc at 10 MHz. This high-performance VCXO is available in the industry standard 9x14 mm SMD package.

The CVSS-945 VCXO generates frequencies between 10 MHz and 125 MHz, with an output level of +5 dBm min into 50 ohms and harmonics lower than -25 dBc. The CVSS-945 consumes 30 mA max current @ 5.0 volts and generates no sub-harmonics.

The CVSS-945 is ideal in PLL (Phase Locked Loop) applications where the requirement is translating from 10 MHz to 100 MHz, as an example. For industrial and other rugged uses, extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and other custom specifications are also available.

New CVPD-922 LVPECL VCXO from Crystek Corporation

Fort Myers, FL - April 27, 2016 - Crystek continues to push the limits of Ultra-Low Phase Noise performance with the release of the CVPD-922 Family.  This Voltage Controlled LVPECL Oscillator outperforms other LVPECL phase noise oscillators.  Close-in phase noise has been reduced to -85 dBc/Hz @ 10 Hz offset while the noise floor is at -162 dBc/Hz.  Available in a frequency range from 40 MHz to 125 MHz.

Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model CVPD-922 is packaged in the industry standard 9 x 14 mm SMD package.  Input supply voltage is +3.3 V, with a maximum current consumption of 88 mA.

Users will see an immediate improvement in jitter generation by replacing the legacy LVPECL oscillator (-145 dBc/Hz floor) with Crystek’s new CVPD-922 family. Crystek also offers a CLOCK version - the CCPD-575 family in a 5 x 7.5 mm package.

NEW 2275-2290 MHz COAXIAL RESONATOR OSCILLATOR FROM CRYSTEK CORPORATION

Fort Myers, FL - September 18, 2015 - Crystek's CVCO55CC-2275-2290 CRO (Coaxial Resonator Oscillator) operates from 2275 to 2290 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5 V to 4.5 V. This CRO features a typical phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically +4.5 dBm.

Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model CVCO55CC-2275-2290 is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5 x 0.5 inch SMD package. Input voltage is typically 5.0 V, with a maximum current consumption of 40 mA. Typical Pulling and Pushing are minimized to 0.2 MHz and 0.2 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -25 dBc typical.

The CVCO55CC-2275-2290 is ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.

ULTRA-LOW PHASE NOISE HCMOS VCXO FROM CRYSTEK PROVIDES HIGH-PERFORMANCE FREQUENCY CONTROL FOR HD AUDIO EQUIPMENT

Fort Myers, FL - August 27, 2015 - Crystek Corporation has launched the CVHD-957, a new Ultra-Low Phase Noise HCMOS Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCXO) with Standby Mode, featuring an extremely low close-in phase noise of -90 dBc/Hz @ 10 Hz offset and a typical noise floor of -168 dBc/Hz @ 100 kHz offset. This performance makes Crystek’s HCMOS VCXO family an industry-leading choice for use in applications such as: digital audio broadcasting (DAB), professional CD audio equipment, and digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for HD audio.

The Crystek CVHD-957 HCMOS VCXO also features a “Standby Function” - when placed in disable mode, the internal oscillator is completely shut down and its output buffer is placed in Tri-State. This family is housed in a 9x14 mm SMT package and operates with a +3.3 V power supply consuming 15 mA of current. Stability is rated at ±100 ppm. The CVHD-957 generates frequencies between 10 MHz and 50 MHz.

CRYSTEK LAUNCHES NEW 2.5 GHz RF SOURCE

Fort Myers, FL, August 20, 2015 - Crystek Microwave announces the release of a 2.5 GHZ Phase Locked Clock Source with internal reference, the CRFS75-2500. Crystek designed the module using proprietary circuitry and SAW (surface acoustic wave) resonator technology to provide ultra-low jitter/phase noise performance with true sinewave output.  The resulting source features -105 dBc/Hz phase noise at 10 kHz offset and a noise floor of -167 dBc/Hz.

Crystek's CRFS75-2500 comes in a 0.75 x 0.75 inch SMT package.  With 5 V input voltage, it generates a true-sinewave with +5 dBm minimum output power. The new source has no sub-harmonics; second harmonic is 20 dBc typical.  Frequency stability is rated at +/ 25 ppm.  The CRFS75-2500 operates from -20°C to +70°C.

Applications include: analog-to-digital (A/D) converters, system clocks for network clock generators/synchronizers; clocks for DDS; test and measurement; avionics; point-to-point radios; and multi-point radios.

Fort Myers, FL - August 13, 2015 - Crystek Corporation has launched the CCPD-575, a new Ultra-Low Phase Noise LVPECL Oscillator providing a -162 dBc/Hz noise floor.  Compact and powerful, the CCPD-575 has an industry leading phase noise for an LVPECL oscillator - at least 15 dB lower phase noise than most LVPECL oscillators on the market today. Close-in phase noise is also excellent @ -90 dBc/Hz for the 100 MHz variant. This overall ultra-low phase noise translates to a typical phase jitter of 85 fS RMS (12 kHz to 20 MHz).

The extremely low phase noise performance is very useful in applications such as: Digital Video, SONET/SDH/DWDM, Storage Area Networks, Broadband Access, Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Typical close-in phase noise has been reduced to -85 dBc/Hz @ 10 Hz offset.  This overall ultra-low phase noise translates to a typical phase jitter of 85 femtoseconds (12 kHz to 20 MHz).

This overall ultra-low phase noise translates to a typical phase jitter of 0.5 psec (12 kHz to 80 MHz).

Packaged in a 9x14 mm SMD package, the CVHD-952 is available from 131 MHz to 200 MHz. An input supply voltage of 3.3 Vdc is required with a typical current consumption of 25 mA.  An extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C is also available.
