Brand advocates are the key to a successful business. Fostering a loyal community is especially key in growing your B2B brand.

Developing a community of brand advocates is a key way to grow and differentiate your business from your competitors. Thanking your advocates for their loyalty is an important step. Here are some ways to show appreciation:

1. Write a personalized, handwritten thank you letter.

2. Award your advocates with badges or promotional gifts.

3. Give advocates a “sneak peak” of your product launches.

4. Extend an invitation to meet with your executives.

5. Grant your advocates premium access to your products or services.

Get more tips on creating more brand advocates in today's guest post at yourbrandpartner.com.

My favorite Kansas City hair salon is selling my line of drinking accessories for dog lovers throughout the holiday season!

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month.

Scooby is mine.

We've been together seven years, and he's been on this earth for at least twice that long. He won't be around forever, but I cherish every minute we have.

Here's a post about how I deal with his aging process: http://waywarddogs.com/2013/11/06/its-not-a-costume-its-a-metaphor-of-his-existence/

Repurpose fabric scraps into bandanas for your dog. This is a great personal project and an idea that can also be used to create inexpensive promotional giveaways for your pet business.
The number of pet events I have been to just this year is astounding. Back when I attended charity walks and pet expos as an individual, it was exciting to see what kind of fun freebies I would com...

Americans will spend $58 billion on their pets this year. As the industry grows, it's getting harder for brands to stand out. See how one pet business in New Jersey uses logoed merchandise to attract, retain and impress customers. http://bit.ly/1gOdAAi

Today's event marketers have the opportunity to engage their audience before, during and after a tradeshow. Including appealing promotional giveaways helps, too!

You may not work in sales, but for the benefit of your company you should think of yourself as a salesperson, anyway.

Be a brand ambassador!
That's right, I said it. EVERYONE in your company should be a sales person. Many times people who are not inherently born to sell have a stigma associated with sales. They fear the inconsistent commission-based paycheck or resent the pressure of trying to meet a quota. But when you think about, ...
