It's that time of year again when motorists and cyclists are forced to share the road. Here are some tips on how to keep the road safe and respectful. http://ow.ly/4mWY3Q
As soon as the weather permits some people decide to swap their car or bus pass for a bicycle. Sharing the roads with cyclists has always been somewhat of a heated topic of conversation for both bikers and drivers alike. It’s safe to say both parties number one priority is to avoid a collision with one another so here are some tips on how to safely share the road with cyclists. Don’t follow too close: Cyclists can stop quicker ...

Congratulations to Josh and Chantal Shcriemer on the purchase of their new 2016 Nissan Murano Platinum! Unfortunately Chantal had to work and was unable to be there to pick up the new vehicle so Josh's father gladly stepped in. Welcome to the #CrownFamily

I just purchased a new Frontier through Eric Anderson at Crown Nissan. He worked hard on the process without high pressure, which was refreshing. He was knowledgeable and attentive to our wants and needs. He went the extra mile to help me get the truck ready as a 50th Birthday present for my husband and added a little extra CFL football signed by some local players! Thanks Eric! I would definitely recommend him to our family and friends.
Response from the owner - a week ago
Hi Janet, congratulations on your new Frontier! Eric is a top quality product advisor and we're happy to hear he looked after you, answered all your questions, got you into a great vehicle and added in a signed football for your husband. We love to hear about our customers positive experiences at our dealership, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Enjoy your new vehicle and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

I had an amazing first car experience with Malcolm McLennan! My boyfriend and I came in knowing nothing about leasing and financing and Malcolm took the time to go through what everything meant and to make sure he met our every need. I'm overjoyed with the results and I never expected being able to drive away in a new car! If you are looking for a new vehicle, I strongly recommend Malcolm! You won't be disappointed!!!
Response from the owner - a week ago
Hi Nelly, congratulations on your new vehicle! We are thrilled to hear about your recent experience at our dealership and more specifically with Malcolm - he's great! It's great to know that he answered all your questions about leasing and financing and made your car buying experience a seamless one. We hope to see you again in the future and enjoy your new vehicle.

Me and my mom went in looking for a new car not even knowing which kind we wanted. Malcolm McLennan took great care of us. He explained the mechanics, the pro and cons and was able to find us a suitable vehicle for our needs and budget. He also took the time to explain different payment options between financing and leasing and was patient enough to answer our many questions. If you are looking for a new car this is the place and Malcolm is your guy.
Response from the owner - a week ago
Hi Purna, we take great pride in our knowledgeable staff and it makes us happy to hear that Malcolm was able to provide you and your mom with all the information you needed in order to make a decision on your new vehicle. Thank you for choosing to visit Crown Nissan and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

I got a brand new 2012 nissan versa from crown.. ever since the car dies all the time.. the first few time I took the car back, they just changed the battery( which I paid from my own pocket the second time) now it still dies.... and it is not even cold yet.....because I am not getting any answer and really frustrated with the situation, I have a mechanic friend looked at it. he did some test, the batter and alternator are fine.. the only thing he can think of causing the trouble is the remote starter which come with the car when I got it. so I booked another appt with crown and specifically mentioned the potential cause.. However when I showed up for the appt, the service guy simply told me I need to go to talk to the company that installed the starter..... first of all, it comes with the car as it suppose to be a bonus, shouldn't you be taking care of it? second, the service guy just give the name of the company, no number no nothing....and I've told you the problems why can't you just tell me to go to the other company the first time when I booked the appt? lastly,if it is not the battery that causing the problem to begin with, why nobody looked at other stuff before charging me for the second battery.... worst service ever.

Our Nissan sales rep was Rob Wiechec. Looking for a vehicle? Go see Rob, he will treat you right! Rob went out of his way to ensure that the normally stressful experience of purchasing a new vehicle was both enjoyable and painless. Rob asked all the right questions and carefully listened to what were were looking for in a new vehicle. It didn't take long for him to find us a perfect match. Crown Nissan was the 6th and last dealership we visited while new car shopping. Everyone we spoke to there were very friendly, but it was Rob's fantastic attitude and obviously genuine passion about making sure his customer(s) would be happy with their purchase that made all the difference in the world.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we look forward to seeing you again. Enjoy your new vehicle!

Finally after reading all the reviews of this dealership, I realize I am not the only one with being delivered a terrible service. I took my 2007 Nissan Maxima to this dealership about 10 days ago for a "simple" fix. This is a US car and I had to install daytime running lights.I was told it was a simple wiring change and would cost $ 350 plus tax. OK, fine. I dropped the car off at night. Next morning, I called to request a shuttle, which is a service that all dealerships provide. I was simply denied by the girl on the Front Desk(service rep who also checked us out when we picked up our car). The reason was, that we needed to book the shuttle 2 days in advance (Really!!). Now the problem with the bill. I expected $ 350 plus tax. The bill had an additional fee of $ 50. This was never quoted to me when I called to get the quote. Now the real problem starts, ever since I drove my car back I started to hear a peculiar whining sound coming from the engine area. I thought of it as something because of the cold weather so did not think much about it. About 2 days ago, my car drained all the battery, my speedometer went out, check engine light came on and the sound got intensively loud. Needless to say that their "technicians" made a simple issue into a major problem. I am writing to Nissan Canada to complain about this dealership and also will write to the owners about the terrible staff. Also, there is a board in the waiting area that ready 95% customer satisfaction. That is just a joke, please do not take that seriously. These people only give the satisfaction surveys to people who don't know any better. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone in future and am thinking of filing a consumer litigation if there is any major breakdown in my car because of this dealership.

Everything was going fine with my cash purchase of a new Nissan Sentra. The price was fine and the sales staff were reasonably knowledgeable about the vehicle. The problems started when I saw the guy in the "little room" off to the side of the dealership. This person typically arranged financing and try to get customers to buy additional items for their car, including rust-proofing and extended warranties. First I had to wait for more than 90 minutes to see him, then when I told him politely that I was paying cash, so I did not require any financing and I also told him that I had problems with 3rd party extended warranties and aftermarket rustproofing from other dealerships in the past and was not going to purchase any extras, he grew quite hostile towards me and would't let me leave. -When i noted these problems down on the "Customer Satisfaction" Survey another staff member gave me to fill out when I was finally allowed to leave. The staff member ripped up the complaining Survey I had filled out, and made me fill out a neutral one, saying they couldn't let me leave a negative Customer Survey as it would make the owner of the dealership upset with them. I still can hardly believe the treatment I received at this dealership while purchasing a new car paid in full at the time of purchase. Both my wife and I really like the Nissan we purchased, but can't imagine a worse time buying it.
