Introduction
Cristo Leon is the Director of Research, College of Science and Liberal Arts at NJIT. In this role, Cristo manages the logistics of research programs and college planning serving as a liaison with the Office of Sponsored Research Administration.

Cristo’s experiences have included +7 years in directive positions. Managing logistics, facilitating organizational development trainings, designing marketing plans, and implementing innovation projects for organizations including: NJIT, Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, Ocean County College, Monterrey Institute of Technology & Higher Education, and the University of Veracruz.

Cristo also developed and facilitated courses for the ITESM in Latin America for C-Level executives of corporations including: Chedraui Inc., Coca-Cola Femsa, PEMEX, Continental, EC., Adelca, SemMaterials, Claro, Adecco

Most recently, Cristo served as the Interim Associate Director of e-Learning for Ocean County College, Managing logistics of +600 online courses, while improving Web Content Management and Digital Asset Management processes. Previously, he was the Director of Innovation for the University of Veracruz. Leading a group of 40 professionals in the creation of learning tools for K12 schools. Experience that prepared him to lead multicultural teams. In addition, Cristo was the Resident Director for the International Studies Abroad office in Xalapa, México. He was responsible for coordinating intercultural immersion programs, travels and cultural activities for American students.
