I highly recommend Crazy 88’s for adults and children. We started our daughter at Crazy 88’s in September 2012, when she was starting 3rd grade. Prior to 88’s, she tried all different team sports, and we decided that team sports were not really her thing. We tried Tae Kwon Do, but felt she spent a majority of class waiting in line for her turn. A friend recommended that we try Crazy 88’s. Since joining in 2012, we have enrolled our other 2 children and started taking adult classes. Our kids have become part of the aftercare program and summer camp. The kid’s coaches are young athletes and great role models. They are able to keep the kids engaged from the start of the class. I have been happy with all the classes and programs we have been involved in.

Training in muay thai has been the best thing that has ever happend to me in my life. Ever since i became a part of crazy 88 my life has changed completely. I have learned so much about myself i wouldve never learned if it wasnt for this gym, i have learned to be respectful which i never was, i learned to be responsible, most importantly i have learned to push myself and not to give up on myself which was one of my greatest weakneses ever to give up on everything and myself. Training has opend my eyes to actualy create goals that are possible to achieve with hard work, it has kept me off the streets and out of trouble. The environment of the gym is awesome everybody is friendly and i have made soo many friends. This is hands down the greatest place ever 👍

We've been going to Crazy 88 since 2010. They are great for all ages, and families. It's the best spot around for mixed martial arts, and brazilian jujitsu. They're like family, and they really care about your kids. Such a fun, supportive spot to be at. Take advantage of the 30 day free trial. You can't go wrong with a hands-on experience to judge for yourself. Don't forget to tell them the Pender Family sent you ;)

Having previous martial arts experience and having been to quite a few gyms, this is by far the best martial arts gym I've been to. It's a very friendly and positive atmosphere, and the coaches genuinely care and help you no matter what your experience is. I would definitely recommend crazy 88 to anyone, whether you're looking to get into shape, learn self defense, or just get into the sport.

I have been training at Crazy 88 since 2009 and this has been the best martial school that I have had to pleasure to train at. It is a huge facility, lots of friendly people from all different ages and backgrounds and the best instructors in the DMV area. It is engineered for people who want to get a great workout, learn a martial art, or compete at the highest level so it is definitely for everybody. It has been a life changing experience for myself and I am sure it will be the same for you. Do yourself a favor and check out the facility and see for yourself how great the school is!

I came to Crazy 88 about three years ago with NO previous Martial arts experience AT ALL. My main goal was to get in shape and learn some self defense. I started out with the basic classes and just a couple weeks into it I started to notice a change in my weight and also my physical appearance. I started to feel a lot better about myself and gained a lot of confidence! One of the things that stood out to me about Crazy 88 was that everyone was friendly! They make you feel at home from the moment you walk through the doors. The coaches are very knowledgeable and are ALWAYS willing to work with you to help you reach your goals. Whether it’s to get in shape, lose some weight or to compete! After training there for about 2 months I quit drinking and smoking and I started to care a lot more about my health and diet. Here I am now an Amateur fighter with a record of 8-1 and a National Champion in Kickboxing AND MuayThai for the World Kickboxing Association. Three years ago I would’ve never thought I would be where I am today. I’m very grateful to have found Crazy 88 MMA. I feel like I’m part of a BIG family and I’m VERY excited about what the future holds for me.

I started training at Crazy88 in March 2014. During this time I was working full-time as a case manager for a mental health adults program in Baltimore City. I got into this line of work for the same reason I got into mixed martial arts. Eager to rectify some earlier decisions and take control of my life I sought out many different paths towards self improvement. I instantly felt the Crazy88 Program was the place for me. Besides the top leveled Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Kickboxing and Muay Thai training being provided, I received something much more unexpected. Upon my continued journey at Crazy88 I began extending my passion and focus for mixed martial arts into other areas of my life. Being a student at Crazy88 gave the motivation, confidence, appreciation and determination to advance into my current field as an Occupational Therapy Assistant student. Even during my time training at Crazy88 I had several setbacks, as I worked towards my goals but I was lifted up and supported not only by the staff which I refer to now as friends but also by my fellow students. I always had and always will have other things going on in my life which require my attention but from my experience at Crazy88 I made mixed martial arts a part of my life and a part of my identity. -Mike Herlich
