Sounds like a damn good idea to me.
In the recent referendum on the EU one thing became clear to me: in political campaigns it’s becoming hard to distinguish fact from fiction. I’m worried this is undermining the integrity of our democratic system. It’s obvious now that both Leave and Remain mislead in their election campaigns: Nigel...

Days like this should be a day off so that you can watch, read and listen to the news all day. Not that there are many days like this.

Nabbed, ta. I had a free one before but it kept starting the app on my watch all the time so binned it off. This one is nice.

hell yes!!
We have the feeling that millions of gamers are about to add a new item to their Christmas wish lists. Nintendo has just announced its NES Classic Edition console, which is a miniature version of the blockbuster Nintendo Entertainment Center console that debuted in the early 80s. The original NES was the very first introduction to home video

Going to sleep not knowing if the morning will bring good or bad news. Feels like Christmas eve when you know you've been naughty all year.

Here's hoping for a safe, CE-marked new bike, and not a toxic, fake plastic turd.

For all your overpriced office stuff. Has the world's smallest car park for a Staples, but nobody really goes to this one so it doesn't matter.

Rather tatty and dilapidated. The oldest pumps I've seen in a long time.

You have to try it at least once...or twice. Very, very sweet but tasty. Open 24 hours (for some reason). Coffee isn't bad either.

The good: Modern hotel, with 24 hour reception, free WiFi, gym, and restaurant and free parking. It's only five minutes' walk from the hotel to the red line tram stop, which then takes 40 minutes to Dublin city centre. The last tram back leaves the city at around 00:00. The Blazin' Grill restaurant nearby is much nicer than it sounds, and does breakfast until 12 on weekends. The rooms are a decent enough size and the beds seem comfy enough for hotel beds. The 777 Airport Hopper bus runs from The Square, which is five minutes' walk from the hotel. First bus is at 03:50 and gets you to Dublin Airport in an hour. Cost 9 euro single. The not quite so good: The rooms are damn hot. It was only 15C outside and we were nearly melting at night. The furniture and fixtures in the room seemed of low quality, with plenty of scratches and dents, drawers that were hard to open, and plugs that mysteriously wouldn't charge devices. If your room has a balcony, you might not be able to get out onto it. We certainly couldn't. There is a shopping centre with a casino, cinema and a tesco nearby, but not much else.

I didn't expect much with the name but was very pleasantly surprised. I had the lamb shank with mash and puy lentils. It was delicious and filling. Recommend.
