A shame how quickly politicians and special interest groups try to take advantage of tragedies like the Orlando shooting instead of focusing on the realities of the 50 innocent lives that were taken, 53 others who are fighting for their lives, and the hundreds of family members impacted by this act. First let us grieve, and help those who are impacted before turning it into a political circus. #prayfororlando

Fun with Mission PD'S new mascot Officer Tipster. He will also represent their Crimestoppers program. His debut was today at one of our elementary schools.

Wonder what this could save lots of cities and businesses?
A teen's science fair project led him to realize that changing fonts could save the U.S. government millions of dollars.

I hope people everywhere learn an important lesson about having burglar bars on their homes from the tragic death of our neighbor. If you have some, rethink it! Check them for escape latches, etc. In my opinion, anything that could slow an escape in any way when seconds count is a bad idea. Lose the burglar bars!
A home where a woman died in a blaze did not have smoke detectors and was outfitted with burglar bars that didn’t meet state requirements

Look up and say "Cheese" Sochi!
The world is focused on the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics right now, so it's important that the Games are extravagant. As USA Today's Nancy Armour reported, this year's Winter Olympics cost $51 billion...
