I  am in a the middle of a book that has the feel of Numenera, not perfect but still good book for inspiration in my opinion. Thought I would share in case you are looking for a good read

It was in terms of the love story, iirc? It has been a long time since I read either, so I could easily be misremembering.

So I got my copy of the "Ninth World Guidebook" today, it really is a beautiful book; so far it seems like a  great read, full good ideas and amazing places.  I am not yet through it but it looks great so far. But I have a question?

I was surprised that most of the world was yet to be detailed out, only about 1/4 of it (rough guesstimate) so far is mapped out. There is a rough out line of whole super continent but no real detail.

I believe I read this was intentional and that  MCG stated would never fill it in? Basically leaving it a blank pallet for GM's to fill as they desire.True? False?  Or is there more to come? I believe I also read somewhere that there might be a Torment source book when that game is release. Would that fill some of the empty space?

Any one have any insight on this?

I think it's likely there will be more expansions of the Ninth World in the future, but due to the size of the world and MCG's philosophy, I doubt it will ever be completely detailed. There will always be blank areas on the map for you to fill in with whatever you want.

I'm sure a lot will depend on the success and longevity of the Numenera product line. Personally, I'm hoping the NWGB ends up being the first volume in a multi-volume series. ☺

Hey any news on when the The Strange Roll20 content set comes out? I am a backer and I saw it one of the Roll20 emails but it did not come out with the last release.

Hey new to Savage Worlds and I have a question about shooting...It is really about automatic fire. I believe the book state weapons with ROF 3 are considered automatic fire (use more ammo and -2 to hit) but the errata lowers this to ROF 2. Does that mean any weapon with a ROF of 2 or greater is considered automatic fire? I am assuming so...thanks in advance for your replies

I will say that the peginc forums are awesome. Great group of people, fast answers, and direct responses from the people responsible for the game.

I found the forums very helpful when I was learning the system, and are still helpful in figuring out more complex issues like this. :)

I have a question? I am assuming that the term "The Ninth World" is not really a in game term. From my reading there is really only about 1000 years of written history so they would have no idea that this is the ninth iteration...Is there a name like "Earth" that is used? Or do people basically refer to the "Steadfast" and the "Beyond"? I am assuming that is a very steadfast centric view. Just wondering?

In my Lovecraftian Numenera campaign, Cthulhu and his non-Euclidean mates have trashed the Earth eight previous times.

This time will be the Ninth.

Finally!!!! Mouse Guard RPG is going to be in reprint....I know it sounds goofy but this is really a great game in my opinion. One of my favorites, systems. I still feel bad for the patrol of brave mice that fell at the hands of the weasel tunnel lord.....may they rest in peace :(

Ok here is one of the best video game quotes I have seen in a while..

#Wasteland2

"Honestly, if there’s anything wrong with the honey badger, it is that he cares just too damn much."

...then they proceed to tear you to shreds.
