I'm visiting Trillium at least every other weekend to try what ever they have available. There is something new all the time and they can do no wrong in my book. Absolute favorite has to be Vicinity, but given that is only brewed once in a while, their Congress Street IPA is my go to.

Two questions.... First, at minute 1:50 (ish) Dan says you need adequate recover to "stimulate the correct systems". Can you elaborate more on that? If you only coasted down the hill and did it again, how would that type of workout differ? Are there advantages to something like that?

Second, what was the song used during the interval sessions? I'd love to add that to my cycling playlist!

Thanks and awesome video! Love what you guys are doing - you are one of my top five channels!

Hi Craig

Well, if you take it to an extreme, and only have 10 seconds recovery, then you will be closer to a threshold workout rather than an anaerobic capacity workout. You simply wouldn't be able to push your body that hard, that many times, with that short a rest period. However, with a longer break, your body is adequately rested and you can really push it very hard again.
