Here lies one of the problems with the Dancehall industry. Most of JA's record labels are too small to have official A&R departments. This song, from a strictly musical standpoint, has bona-fide hit written all over it. However, due to lack of proper artist development personel and the assets that typically come along with it, Tifa is allowed to balloon to a size that's not marketable in video. With major labels, you are almost immediately paired with a fitness trainer and nutritionist because, if we're honest, the music industry is as much visual as it is audio and in a lot of cases, the visual aspect can be as, or even more, important than how you sound.
As far as Dexta Daps is concerned; this dude's trajectory is pointed straight upwards. If his business is a thorough as his material, he can be Jamaica's next Dancehall superstar. He's that good.
