If you pay attention, #nature  can really amaze you.
Scientists have long thought there were certain signs of intelligence only shared by humans and chimpanzees. So they were startled to find one of those characteristics in a fish — a very smart fish, yes, but still a regular old coral trout. Meanwhile in Africa, Gambian legislators plan to increase the punishment for anyone convicted of being habitually gay to life in prison. And a doctor discusses the cruel impact of Ebola in Africa, in today's G...

A great and though provoking article by +Steve Rypka
Civilization has come a long way in the past 10,000 years. To those who follow the latest scientific findings, it doesn’t look like it’s going to be an easy ride going forward.

PR and Climate Change

Should PR firms be socially and environmentally responsible or simply adapt to their client’s agenda?

No  longer just a prediction #climatechange  is here.  #NOAA announced that the world has broken all records for the highest global temperatures.
The globe is on a hot streak, setting a heat record in June. That’s after the world broke a record in May. Last month’s average global temperature was 61.2 degrees, which is 1.3 degrees higher than the 20th century average.

Is there such a thing as #Sustainable #seafood? Startling information by @4fishgreenberg on @nprfreshair http://n.pr/1nZjHkg
One-third of the seafood Americans catch is sold abroad, but most of the seafood we eat here is imported and often of lower quality. Why? Author Paul Greenberg says it has to do with American tastes.
