My phone broke. I lost access to Google Authenticate and the second half of my two factor authentication. It was a great opportunity to look at how each of the main services deal with recovery. I'm...

Ints are evil?

I hate ints because ints cause bugs. This one can literally crash your plane.
Have you turned it off and on again? That's the way to stop the plane becoming a brick

The Telegraph criticising the Tories on foreigners? That's how fucked up government policy is.

A telegraph article I agree with. What is the world coming to? It's very true, though.

Defend human rights

Our human rights shouldn't be used as a political football. They're not to be debated, won, or taken away on a whim - they're fundamental to every single one of us.

It's OK, they turned the plane off then on again

"The company told the Guardian that the problem has only occurred in the lab and that all of the planes in service have been turned off and on again as part of regular maintenance."

That inspires me with confidence.
Boeing’s huge 787 Dreamliner could see its engines shut down if it is left running for too long, because of a software glitch.

This reminds me why I used to hate exams so much, the answers were arbitrary, so they were more like a puzzle of what's in the examiner's head rather than a test of your knowledge of the subject. I hope Computing At School can help to fix some of this.
