Blogged : Don't take your laptop home.

If you've seen it on social media, it's unlikely to be the truth.

Recent research reveals false rumours really do travel faster and further than the truth

New studies from two separate projects looked at how falsehoods circulate on social media – with some worrying conclusions for fact checkers.

One reason I don’t trust change is when that change has no defined end goal. When a change is requested, and the ticket completed, but it then enters a cycle of scope-creep that means the ticket can never be closed. They often start with something simple…

Comfortable beds, but there's a very noisy generator on the Beefeater side of the building. Friendly, helpful staff. Be sure to lookout for TGI Friday if driving in, as they share a carpark that is otherwise tricky to find.

A welcoming, family friendly hotel with lots to do. Some great walks and a good play area as well as plenty of choice of food. On my particular stay, there was an issue with the room (a lot of noise nearby and a very light sleeper), but we were assigned a new room quickly and without fuss. Many compliments to Laura and the rest of the helpful staff who made our stay as relaxing as we'd hoped.

Attended for a wedding, and found the venue was very well presented, as were the helpful staff. The food was delicious. Cannot fault it as a wedding venue. Many thanks to all involved.

The rooms, food and spa were great, but unfortunately the staff were generally inattentive, and we spent a lot of time at dinner and breakfast waiting for them to come and take our order. Other guests had to chase the staff down. It's a lovely setting and all the interactions with the staff were friendly, but standards of hospitality across the board are not as they were last time I stayed. If only they were all a bit more proactive. Given the pervasiveness of the attitude, I feel this must come from management.
