For the first time since I can remember, I had to switch my morning viewing (evening US time) from MSNBC, who is broadcasting non-stop jail break news, to CNN who is broadcasting about the Supreme Court ruling, the eulogy of the pastor in N Carolina who was shot, and other stories.

Dear Americans,

Aren't you sick to death of hearing such empty rhetoric? When are you going to ask Republicans to put up or shut up? Where is this "plan" they've been talking about for years?

"“ObamaCare is fundamentally broken. … Today’s ruling doesn’t change that fact,” said House Speaker John Boehner in a statement. “We will continue our efforts to repeal the law and replace it with patient-centered solutions that meet the needs of seniors, small business owners, and middle-class families.”

COME ON!

What an amazing night. It was very powerful having these two women at Phare.

We were honored to have +ActionAid International  at +Phare, The Cambodian Circus  as part of their annual general meeting and directors forum. I went to speak to the delegates yesterday afternoon to introduce them to +Phare Ponleu Selpak  and the story behind it. Just before I was up, #MessengerBand sang a couple songs. Despite having seen them in "Angkor's Children" dozens of times, it was the first time I ever met them face-to-face. Angkor's Children with the stories of Phare, Phunam, Messenger Band, Sreypov and Cambodia Living Arts are what it's all about for me here. Transforming lives. Positive energy. Hope and future.

Magical evening.

“Every once in a while, we bring down the curtain on the politics of a prior era,” said David Frum, the conservative writer. “The stage is now cleared for the next generation of issues. And Republicans can say, ‘Whether you’re gay, black or a recent migrant to our country, we are going to welcome you as a fully cherished member of our coalition.’ ”

BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

How many of you think the Republicans will let this drop and move on to other issues, welcoming ALL to their "coalition"?

Many party officials see an opening to turn the election toward economic and national security issues.

Where is there any gray area?

There is no conflict between equal protection under the law and freedom of religion. What happens in the religious realm is in-tact. What happens in church is protected. What happens in the privacy of one's home remains private. What happens in the public realm follows civil law.

Everyone still has the right to practice their religion, but they don't have the right to force others to, no matter their beliefs.

The battle over same-sex marriage may have drawn to a dramatic close Friday at the Supreme Court. But the war is far from over.
