The New Year is almost here. Looking back on 2014, it is a bit insane how quickly this year has passed. At the beginning, we all had New Year’s resolutions. The majority of people put losing weight or adopting a healthier lifestyle as their number one goal to achieve for the New Year. However, many do not actually follow through with it. It could be that you did not have enough time to prepare a healthier meal or the cost became too m...

What makes a soft shell crab a soft shell crab?
http://www.crabcornerlv.com/blog/softshellcrablasvegas
What makes a soft shell crab a soft shell crab? It is simply blue crabs that have outgrown their shells and shed them. Blue crabs are found in various parts of the United States, primarily in the Chesapeake Bay. Typically, these crustaceans will stay in the water and grow new, larger shells to protect themselves, but when they are harvested, it stops this process the crabs remain soft. The outer shell is so soft, it is almost all of i...

Food was less than good. Customer service was excellent. But my crab cake tasted like chicken wings. My lobster bisque tasted buttery for my taste and no lobster at all. The dungess crab had little to no meat. The crab pretzel, you could tell the pretzel was microwaved. There was nothing good about this place. My kids had the grilled cheese, well you really cant mess that up. Spent $80 on my meal that wasn't even worth $30. I would have had a better tasting meal at McDonalds. Never going back.

Thank you for the recent visit and feedback Kyrie. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the customer service, We are sorry you were unable to find much to your tastes. Our policy is to remove and/or replace any items that are not to your liking. We wish you would have informed your server of your concerns so we would have had the opportunity to help you find something on our menu more suited to your pallet in place of the items you didn't enjoy. We do hope you will come back, and thanks again for giving us a shot :)

We went to the crab corner sunday afternoon around 6pm. The place was fairly empty. Waited over an hour for our food because of "mix up" we got our food around 7:10. We did not notice the time right away because we were wrapped up in the madness. March madness. The games held our attention. There were approximately 4 tables being waited on. Two of which already had their food. My wife had the crab cakes which she liked. I had the crab salad. It is served on a plate with everything sectioned off. You have to toss your own salad...no pun intended. Tossing a salad on a plate is kinda hard to do without making a mess. We also had the beacon wrapped scallops. The waiter brought out 4 very small wrapped scallops and it was 14 bucks. Im not a cheap person however I dont like being taken advantage of. I dont think we will ever go there again.

Always my first stop for food and drinks whenever I land in town. Breakfast meals are so real so big and so good. Amazing oysters as well.

I don't seem to share the same feelings as all the other customers. We stopped in yesterday for a quick bite to eat before heading back to work. From the minute we walked in the smell was terrible, granted we know seafood places have a tendency to smell a little funky but this place just smelled bad. The table condiments were filthy. We were looking at what was available to use and when we picked up the large container of seasoning, it was covered with food and smears and old fingerprints from previous patrons. It looked like someone had been eating crab legs with their fingers then moved onto the seasonings over and over again. The bus boy or waiting staff obviously never wipe them down. In the womens bathroom the wall was covered in dirt and the bathrooms had all the toilet paper spindles empty with extra TP just sitting on top of the back of the toilet. Looked like no one had serviced or emptied the waste disposal unit located in each bathroom as they were overflowing with trash. We decided to play it safe and order the chicken fingers or chicken nuggets I think they were called, we paid approx 10 buck a piece. When they came out there were 2 in each basket with fries. They were the pre bought frozen chicken fingers and were pretty gross. It doeskin take much for a restaurant to purchase fresh chicken tenderloins and dredge them in some milk cover them with some flour and deep fry them. This is a pretty simple meal to prepare for most restaurants. Not to mention the price was way over for 2 nuggets I mean they weren't even extra big just seems a bit steep for 2 bites. Needless to say we wont be back and would recommend that they either find a cleaning crew to clean things up or they wont be in business too long. Also a little fresh food really goes along way.

Worst experience ever. Our server (the bartender) took forever to greet us and ask if we wanted drinks. She also was texting when she finally walked up to our table. They had a movie on the TV next to the bar and it was turned up so loud. No wonder there was only 2 other tables with people at them. We will never be retuning. I am from Maryland. What a terrible representation.

I don't get all the hype. Had fish & chips with lobster bisque. Was not impressed at all. A bit pricey for what you get.
