The Pushkar Fair occurs every year in the Hindu month of kartik (October /November). During this period Pushkar and its environs come alive as the much awaited annual camel & cattle fair begins at Pushkar. Hotels are full to their capacity, tents and campsites suddenly spring up to accommodate the thousands of pilgrims, tourists and villagers with herds of cattle, horses and camels who come here to participate in this grand annual event.

Pushkar fair has always been the region's central cattle market for local herdsmen and farmers of Rajasthan, who buy and sell camels, horses and indigenous breeds of cattle. Pushkar fair is now one of Asia’s largest cattle fairs.

Kerala and its zigzag backwaters are famous for its local boat races held in various parts of the State during the harvest season. The Champakulam boat race is the initial race held during this season and has a tradition of more than 500 years. The annual traditional boat race begins in late June and early July. This festival is acknowledged as 'Moolam Vallamkali'. It is strongly connected to the Sree Krishna Temple at Ambalappuzha. The race is carried out on the Moolam day in the Malayalam month Midhunam, the installation day of the deity at the Temple.

Holi est un très beau festival de l'Inde. il est populairement connu comme festival de couleurs. les gens souhaitent Holi heureux les uns les autres en jouant avec les couleurs.
Des gens de la communauté célébrer cette fête colorée et agréable holi de Holi. ils utilisent des couleurs sèches et liquides pour profiter festival de Holi. à chaque maison dames préparent des plats délicieux spéciaux pour les membres de la famille.

#Teej es un #festival de ayuno para las mujeres hindúes. Se lleva a cabo en el tercer día de la Shukla Paksha del mes Sawaan del hindú que normalmente cae entre finales de julio hasta principios de septiembre. Este festival está dedicado a la diosa Parvati y celebra su regreso al Señor Shiva. Teej es en alabanza de la felicidad conyugal y el bienestar de su cónyuge e hijos. La caída en el mes hindú de Bhado, Teej también celebra la llegada del monzón tan esperado después de un verano caliente brutalmente. El festival es una celebración de tres días que incluye tanto el ayuno rígido y de banquete para chuparse los dedos.

#Gangaur es uno de los festivales más vívidos regocijaron con gran entusiasmo y alegría en todo el estado indio de #Rajastán. En la palabra Gangaur, "Gan" es el sinónimo de Señor Shiva mientras que 'Gaur' significa Gauri o diosa Parvati. Pero sobre todo, este festival se celebra en honor de la diosa Parvati como ella es considerada como el epítome de amor conyugal, la fuerza, el coraje, la energía y la excelencia. Durante las fiestas, las mujeres casadas culto a la diosa Parvati por la larga vida, el bienestar y la riqueza de sus maridos mientras que las chicas ruegan por conseguir un inteligente y un compañero de vida entendimiento. El festival se regocijó en el mes de Chaitra, el primer mes del calendario hindú y cae entre marzo y abril, según el calendario gregoriano. Comienza el primer día Chaitra mes, el día después de Holi y se celebra durante 18 días. Además, marca el final de la temporada de invierno y la llegada de la temporada de primavera.

Teej is a fasting festival for Hindu women. It takes place on the third day of the Shukla Paksha of the Sawaan month of the Hindu which normally falls between late July to early September. This festival is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and celebrates her return to Lord Shiva. Teej is in praise of marital bliss and the well-being of spouse and children. Falling in the Hindu month of Bhado, Teej also celebrates the arrival of the long awaited monsoon after a brutally hot summer. The festival is a three day celebration which includes both rigid fasting and scrumptious feasting.

Gangaur is one of the most vivid festivals rejoiced with great enthusiasm and happiness all over the Indian state of Rajasthan. In the word Gangaur, 'Gan' is the synonym for Lord Shiva whereas 'Gaur' stands for Gauri or Goddess Parvati. But mainly, this festival is held in the honour of Goddess Parvati as she is regarded as the epitome of marital love, strength, courage, power and excellence. During the festivities, married women worship Goddess Parvati for the long life, well being and wealth of their husbands while the girls pray for getting a smart and an understanding life partner. The festival is rejoiced in the month of Chaitra, the first month of the Hindu calendar and falls in between March and April, according to Gregorian calendar. It begins on the very first day Chaitra month, the day after Holi and is celebrated for 18 days. Also, it marks the end of winter season and the coming of spring season.
