A cousin sent me some old photo albums to scan, and one photo really took my breath away. There were two little girls are all dressed up in jester outfits in 1928 for the annual Carnival in Köln. I never thought I'd find a photo of them, as they were both lost in the holocaust along with their parents.

They are Inge and Lolo Rosensweig, my grandfather's first cousins. Lolo is the older one.

To make them truly memorable I asked the kind folks in https://www.facebook.com/groups/PhotoColorizingandestoation/ to help me. Wow, they really did an amazing job! Thank you! #genealogy #oldphoto #photocolorization #holocaust

https://www.pinterest.com/cousindetective/reichenbach-schlesien-germany/ is my Pinterest board for the "right" city of Reichenbach where my family was actually from -- not one of the many other wrong Reichenbachs I originally thought was their hometown.
