Friendly front desk people, great bartenders (shout out to Jeremy!) and the corner suites are sick! Also, super comfy beds and pillows which is always a huge plus.

We stayed at 88 Exeter Courtyard Marriott again this weekend. It's a very comfortable stay: good bed, clean room, fantastic location, awesome staff. This being our third or fourth time at 88 Exeter, we found the king bed starting to show its age (although we slept very well!) and the standard king room fairly tight. You can't beat the location at Copley Square with the T stop right around the corner and Newberry St and Boylston shopping and restaurants a block or two away. The staff at 88 Exeter is the hotel's biggest asset: friendly, helpful and there to serve the guest - they are out-of-the-norm in today's service society! Keep up the good work. It's a great hotel. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

My family stayed here for 2 nights recently. Good location, nice, clean and friendly. That is what I want in lodging. No free breakfast...

The exterior is actually part of a historical building, all it looks completely different than the other hotels around. Very closer to the subway and the malls. Good location to get around and its not on a busy street, so thats nice.

I was expecting a lot more from this hotel. But it feels like a cheap hotel that was renovated with modern-style furniture and decorations. The rooms are really small. The bed and bedding feel cheap. The bathroom is teeny, and I could smell fragrances from a neighboring bathroom. My room happened to be next to the fitness center, and I could hear the treadmills clearly through the wall. When people ran on them, it shook the bed. There is a club just off the lobby. When I checked in, I wondered whether I was at the right place. The whole lobby had the feel of a nightclub. The staff was not rude, but not welcoming either. This may all appeal to some people, but my expectations were different. It just felt like a cheap hotel to me.

Made reservations, couldn't make it due to work. Stayed at another Marriott in Andover. Front desk clerk said there wouldn't be any trouble cancelling. Was charged for TWO cancellation fees, called and asked for them to be removed and manager said there's nothing he can do. Very rude about it. Terrible customer service. Will be switching all my travel needs to Hilton.

Great hotel. Small. Purchased 2 rooms with 2 Queen beds each but unable to get them nearby due to only one per floor.

It's right in the middle of Boston so there's tons to do nearby, the rooms are clean and the service is wonderful.
