The global computer science community lost a pioneer on 30 June 2015 with the passing of AdaCore President and Co-founder Dr. Robert Dewar. Dr. Dewar served as the company’s CEO until 2012 and as its President until he succommed to cancer at his home near Bennington, Vermont.

CHICAGO, 8 July 2015. United Airlines suffered a “network connectivity issue” -- a problem with a router -- that caused flights to be grounded for more than an hour this morning; the airline is currently recovering from the technical problem. “We are in the process of restoring regular operations after a network connectivity issue impacted our systems,” says a United Airlines spokesperson in Chicago.

Vegans and vegetarians beware -- they only serve meat meals and the manager does not allow any outside food. If you want to eat while staying at the hotel, you MUST buy their food or leave. Manager completely inhospitable. Never staying at a citizenM hotel again thanks to the manager here. Only flesh eaters welcome. Humane folks stay away.

Horrible people going against corporate policies, rejecting coupons and mobile app. Never spending here again. Lots of others that are better in area. Recommend avoiding.

Just this week I've stayed at three hotels near the convention center -- and this was the best stay. Great night staff and, to my surprise, really good and reasonably priced food. Comfy, modern, and quiet -- not to mention very close to lots of restaurants, a short walk to the shops (Pointe), 20-minute stroll to the convention, and at a Trolley stop ($2 ride all the way up or down I-drive).

Likely the worst Safeway I have ever been to; certainly the worst management staff. Assistant Managers blindly follow (and appear to be afraid of) the head bookkeeper (Candy), who has a very limited understanding of the company's coupon policy. Perhaps it is ignorance or laziness; either way, the coupon policy is contorted to her whim and assistant managers blindly follow -- not understanding even the basic sentences in the coupon policy. And, when you prove them wrong, they point to the last line and say they can refuse coupons -- or service -- any time they feel like it. Much of a power trip? Arguing facts will get you nowhere when faced with stubbornness and ignorance.

Worst experience shopping -- rudeness and accusations from inept Assistant Manager Angie Frost, who refused a "digital" (printed) coupon, called it "fraudulent", threatened to "report" it, spoke to a supervisor (Wendy) on the phone about us in front of us, and failed at bumbling to find the store's coupon policy -- all of this despite the presentation of proof (the coupon on Facebook via my smartphone).
