Cool article, and pretty much the reason I stay away from the profession opting to make the best out of more programmatic options. Somehow doesn't seem like either has incredible staying power as a profession saturated highly with professionals vs oncoming technological advancement. I'm probably full of shit, these are just ruminations. In the end, it's all about coming up with fresh, amazing, passionate, novel, & brilliant things, whatever it is you choose to be passionate about. I guess I'll lose my job when we can just program computers with our thoughts or whatever but that'll be by my retirement age, and by then we'll probably have so much other shit on our minds (lol hyperinternet) that it'll be irrelevant anyways.
