Anyone want to go #leafpeeping ?
This year, splurge on a helicopter tour over Muskoka and Algonquin Park to gawk at the fall colours. Leaf peeping has never been so glamorous.

Love this place. Great views and amazing rooms. Service is great. Food is good. Advertised as 5 star dining but quality and presentation feels more like upscale 3 star. Lots of activities : dog sledding, horse back riding, kayaks, canoes, Algonquin park pass.

If you are the outdoorsy type and enjoy good food, this place is perfect. Hot tubs, fireplaces, full access to Algonquin Park's amazing hiking trails, canoes, bikes, and friendly, helpful staff. Plus live music!

The rooms were incredibly well appointed, and the dining was better than the Chateau Laurier, and Arrowhon Pines. Although the resort is just outside of the park, it is closer to more popular attractions, like the Spruce Bog Boardwalk and the Visitor's Centre, than lodges inside the park. When I read that the resort had Netfix, I was sceptical given the resort's remote location. Having worked in Algonquin Park, I remember even dial up access being problematic. But, the Netflix worked without buffering. Thank you for the relaxing trip.

I read the reviews before booking the resort. I am so glad I ignored the negative ones. We spent four nights here. The resort is amazing. They have thought of everything. All of the employees are friendly and go out of their way to speak with you. We loved the hot tub on the balcony -- Masters' Suite. Our favorite was canoeing on that beautiful lake and then dressing up for dinner every night. The food was delicious. We swam in the pool and the lake and loved the hiking trails. The no tipping policy as well as the BYOB invite are great ideas !! We will definitely return.

They promise a lot: valentine's every day. The deliver a lot, but fall short in a few places. The good: atmosphere. It's all inclusive, relaxing, a great location, has free rentals. Totally rocks. The food is great too. Frittata and Benny were excellent breakfast options. At dinner, the lamb was so good I ordered it twice, though my filet mignon was burnt and paella was very bland. Overall, regardless of the meal, you could tell fresh ingredients were used throughout. Fireplace and hottub were both amazing. Obviously. The bad: decor. Dark green jacuzzi, light wood and floral drapery are straight out of 1991. This didn't affect our enjoyment of the room though. Soundproofing. Got Woken up twice by shoveling outside - and we were on the second floor! Bed. Hard mattress needed us to ask for a topper and pillows so mushy , your head just lay on the mattress - both the feather and foam ones. BYO pillows for sure! Coffee. My keurig coffee was better than the restaurant stuff. Overall, despite these drawbacks, I would consider going there again.

Just stopped in to have a look. Beautiful spot, staff very friendly and helpful. Will look for some special occasion to justify the expense😀. Great to see a dress code in place at the restaurant.
