UPDATE: I wanted to post an update on this review to show that Mr. Davis and his team contacted to help in resolving this issue. I received a call from Mr. Pat Davis to inquire on the review posted below. I explained in further detail my experiences and he made a sincere effort to help in "earning trust" in the company. He offered to take my car and look at the issue described and gave me a loaner during that time. Some minor repairs were made (at the dealership's expense) and I now have my car with no issues. I called him the next day to thank him for taking the time to call and make the attempt to resolve, what could have been, a very bad situation. I do appreciate what Mr. Davis, and his team has done but this could've been done a long time ago if the Collision Repair Mgr would've consulted with upper management on what they could've done at that moment. A "sweep it under the rug" approach is never a good tactic... especially in that line of business. Regardless of his approach I do applaud Pat and the team for taking the necessary steps to what needs to be done. With that I feel that I need to at least offer a better rating. -Tim Pence Original Post: This place is one of the worst dealerships I have encountered. I got some body work done several months ago and an employee left drugs in my car while cleaning it. The manager said "it was a silly little mistake" and I shouldn't let that affect my decision to do business with them in the future. With my line of work that silly little mistake could've cost me my job. A few weeks back I had a recall on my car and thought that since that was a different department I would be ok... I asked them to look at another issue to see if they could fix the problem. I got the recall done and then 1 day later my passenger side rear turn signal stopped working and I'm still trying to find the issue. Sadly enough, I live 2 minutes away but I will travel 2 hours, if needed, to buy our next vehicle next spring.

The whole car buying experience was amazing. No pressure and really makes you feel like your appreciated. Eric and Bob are awesome. Now the bad thing is the body shop.. they kept my car 5 days longer then told for just touch up and buffing. When i get there i had a cracked bumper and the work performed was the worst i have ever seen. Items missing out of car like money, dvd's and my car was ransacked through but was put back very nicely before i picked it up ... will give update of what is being done.. this is my first time EVER doing a review

At almost 61 years old I remember "dickering on price" when buying a car. I know a fair amount about auto sales, having family in the business but it keeps changing. To that end I had a great time talking to the sales folks, "dickering on the price" and having them find me the best deal they could. So when it came down to paying for the deal, I was surprised when the finance manager got in on the "party", you know what, he didn't push anything on me, he listen to what I was saying about how I wanted to take care of this new pickup and when my grandson turns 16, give it to him. I expect to work on it over the years and my goal is it will give the two of us something to do together. With that in mind, he suggest the extended warranty, explaining how it could help me make my goal. You know what, I bought it, it was the right fit! Thanks Team Coughlin, I'll be back in about 6 months to work on getting a car.

I'm late but long story short good freaking dealership, i didn't get to meet everyone there but I ordered a corvette thru "rick Conti" back in May and the experience was great, yu don't have to get a vette but I'm sure the other salesmen are just as good as he is, but by the way the finance department and their own insurance ppl are good too I strongly suggest anyone go buy here

My husband and I have busy schedules and recently had my car of 10 years fall apart on us. We arrived at your dealership on a Sunday at 6:00 pm and expected the office to be closed; we just planned to walk around and look at options on our own. To our surprise, the dealership remained open to speak with customers. We were paired up with Shannon Jones and received incredible service. He stayed until 8:30 pm to go out of his way to assist us in our search. He is sincere, open, knowledgable, and not overbearing. We were so comfortable with his advice and guidance that we ended up buying a new car! Shannon also went above and beyond to help me get a complimentary rental car while my new car is having leather seats installed. The most impressive car buying experience I've ever had. I was recently in an automobile accident and my 2006 Saturn Vue was totaled. I did some research on a replacement vehicle and determined that the 2010 Chevy Equinox LT2 or LTZ would be the right choice for my budget and personal preferences. I searched a few online sites that showed listings for that make and model year and found one at Jack Maxton Chevy of Columbus, Jeff Wyler in Canal Winchester and Coughlin Chevy in Pataskala. I went to Maxton first since it was closest, but the vehicle had sold 2 hours before I arrived. Then I went to Jeff Wyler and that vehicle had failed a safety inspection. I looked at a couple of other ones on the lot and the salesman tried to talk me into a lease which I did not want. So I called Coughlin on Friday, September 18th after the lot was closed and left a voicemail indicating my interest in the 2010 Equinox that they had listed on their website to make sure it was still available since I would be making a 30 minute trip to do a test drive. I received a call from Dale with internet sales that same evening (which was a pleasant surprise) and he told me that the car was still on the lot. I arranged a test drive for the 19th. When I arrived Dale, got me right into the Equinox and told me to take her out for a drive. I took the car for about 2 hours to look it over carefully and show my spouse. It met all my requirements so when I returned we got the paperwork going to purchase the vehicle. I did indicate some concern about my credit, but the credit team was able to get me taken care of. I did ask if they could throw in an all wheel alignment and a balance and rotation which they did without hesitation. Dale did not try to steer me into something I didn't want and was fantastic to work with. Please make sure he sees this review. I would definitely refer customers to him and to the Pataskala dealership. My week was pretty rough after the accident, but I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. The process was smooth and easy which is refreshing compared to previous car buying experiences.

They found the first issue to be under warranty and told me it'd be taken care of - I didn't have to keep tabs on what is covered and what isn't. Then that repair led to another huge repair that they told me was also covered, as would be my rental since the 2nd repair was going to be a lengthy one. They test drove mine several times to see that it was in good shape and worked with my weird schedule to get me back into it. Thanks, guys!
