Thank you for your persistence in facilitating breast cancer awareness.   I lost my mom in my early 20's and she was in her early 50s, and again lost someone who worked for me and the doc said don't worry it is just a cyst...  14 months she was gone. (always get a second opinion - she did not)  We try to make it to San Diego every year in Nov for the 3 Day BC walk... wife walks with a team (wild woman walking for a cure) and our son and I volunteer as towel boys at the showers... Son is soon to be Eagle scout (project done) all with a wheelchair under him. ...and Cosmo (picture) is his service dog, and he comes to help with the walkers and while on the road walker stalkers / cheering them along.

"Facilitating breast cancer awareness," no he/they are NOT.  Where do you see them even whispering about cheap anti-angiogenic substances that promote apoptosis?  He's just another bastard in league with greedy Big Medicine, Big Hospitals and Big Pharma.  The doctor failed you by being ignorant, or by intentionally withholding critically important information.

Mona has officially registered for the San Diego, CA 3Day Breast Cancer Walk.  60 miles in three days.  She is walking with the Wild Women (and Men) Walking for a Cure team, which has been a 3Day Walking Team for many years (note to self, need to find out how many).   She is training, though a bit behind, doing a bunch of training walks over the next weeks leading up to the adventure.   She walks for the cure and if you want to help, you may sponsor her at the following site copied below this note... Mona's donation site for the 3Day BC Walk in San Diego.   It is tax deductible too! (but check with your tax person if you want to)

We all have been touched by breast cancer in one way or another.  I lost my mom when  is in my early mid 20's, and my brother in earlier than that.  We miss her, and we are sure there are lots of families out there that may read this that are missing their loved ones due to BC as well.

If have a need to give and would like to support the San Diego 3 Day BC Walk, please consider supporting Mona in this endeavor.

Thank you ... m&m-w

In response to a friend that posted on FB... " "So why is it when a cartoonist or cheesy film maker insult Islam there needs to be bloodshed? The answer is maturity." I agree, maturity, thou of the person doing the poking... the Muslim nations are still in war state, have been for centuries. Their culture is different, and are very proud of their religion and prophet. Many a war has started over their beliefs and as such, need their respect too. So, in short, respect / of thoughts, religion, or atheism, all deserve their say, but not at the point of pushing the button of intolerance, to create more hatred of the western worlds/nations.

Our son is disabled, and a bill like this would be of great benefit to  him and others that may need more complex rehab technology to assist in their journey.
We, the undersigned, strongly urge all Members of Congress to sign on as a co-sponsor of H.R. 4378 or introduce a companion Bill in the...

Astronomers have detected a luminous galaxy some 5.7 billion light years away that produces about 740 new stars each year. (http://www.csmonitor.com/Science/2012/0817/Astronomers-spot-humongous-supermom-galaxy-fervently-spawning-stars-video)

Story
Introduction

Cosmo theGreat is a service dog for, but also a great friend of, our son Brendan.

Cosmo was found wandering ski slops, rescued, and brought to us via Safe Harbor Lab Rescue & Cosmo's trainer, Carl Reif.

Bragging rights
Cosmo survived 5th-8th grade and hopes to be allowed to attend 9th grade with B (still tbd with his school - long story) so far B is now a Life Boy Scout with his sights on Eagle, and is mostly A's, and a B or two the first Quarter of 9th.

Decline to State
Generally this place is just ok, however their service maintenance shuttles only run 8-8:30 in the AM. this is scheduled for those that 'work'. I am retired, and have a disabled son in HS, and it takes an act of upper management to facilitate my travel home later due to my son's late start each day as school. I find this very strange that a higher end dealership does not have suttles all day. Every other car dealership that we have dealt with (Honda and Subaru to be specific) has shuttle runs all the time. We have a Chrysler T&C van with all the whistles and bells for media which is used to transport our family/son and wheelchair and service dog

Dragonfly Stained Glass is a wonderful place for anything stained glass supplies, classes, new windows, repairs, etc.. Larry has had windows in Better Homes and Gardens and Architectural Digest. His is very passionate artist, with a drive for the creation of stained glass art, perfection in its creation, and a great eye for glass and how it all works together in style, color, texture and movement.
