so i'm nearing the completion of everything, but for some reason i just can't get PiFM to transmit.

- commented out gpio pins 0-7
- ucommented gpio pins 0-6, 21
- fm set to true
- Frequency set to 87.7
- volume all the way up
- tried setting "audio_out_card=" to be blank
- have an antenna wire running on gpio 7 (also tried a stereo dipole antenna on gpio7 and a ground)

Anything I'm missing? My lights come on and appear to go with the music, i just get a "garbled" sound on 87.7 FM once the show starts.

Anyone know how I can trigger LightshowPi to start and end at a set time? I did this last year but can't find how to do it again for the life of me and I reset my Pi.

Also, my current "mix" is about 12.5 minutes long and I'd like to to start it at :00, :15, :30 and :45 while leaving the lights fully on from the 12.5 minute mark to the 15 minute marks in between. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

And as always, thx to all those involved in this project!

Trying to install WebUI and simply can't get around this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "py/code.py", line 9, in <module>
    import scheduler_class as scheduler
  File "/home/pi/lightshowpi-webui/py/scheduler_class.py", line 4, in <module>
    from apscheduler.schedulers.background import BackgroundScheduler
ImportError: No module named apscheduler.schedulers.background

I tried starting from a fresh clone multiple times, i run the install, reboot, and then get the above error when i try to run py/code.py

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Checked out the webui branch and when i click on settings it just sits there and loads...This is in the console:

Ok...so I've been on hiatus for nearly a year and have everything for LSPi setup but this year I want to run the web ui. I see the branch in togiles repo hasn't been updated since March, whereas Stephen's is more active. Last update was 9 minutes ago.

Looks like Stephen's is more "cutting edge" but is there any stable features missing? 9 months seems like a long time. Just curious on which one I should use.

thanks.

Getting ready to get started for this year. Was wondering if there were any cool new features or if the platform is relatively the same. Either way...looking forward to doing another show this year with LightShow Pi

Anyone able to provide a simple cronjob to just start_music_and_lights @ 6 and stop_music_and_lights @ midnight?

I did some searching  around here but can't seem to get anything to work.

Anyone know what this error means?

 /home/pi/lightshowpi/py/fft.py:61: RuntimeWarning: divide by zero encountered in log10
  :piff(frequency_limits[i][1], chunk_size, sample_rate):1]))

is there a command i can use to turn on one specific gpio pin at a time for testing purposes?

getting this error:
ERROR:root:Preshow_configuration not defined or not in JSON format.No JSON object could be decoded

when using this in overrides.cfg:
preshow_configuration =

tried setting it to a blank object but get even more errors
