During this week's Corona Geek Hangout we'll talk with Benjamin Cabé, IoT evangelist at the Eclipse Foundation. He advocates the use of open and innovative technologies for the Internet of Things and likes building crazy machines with Arduino kits and all kinds of open hardware platforms.

In February of this year, Benjamin gave a demonstration of his M2M/IOT setup at FOSDEM 2014. He used augmented reality information displayed on a tablet and Google Glass to control a prototype Greenhouse.

Watch the demo here: http://youtu.be/TfgAxV3z6ks

On Monday, Benjamin will present some of the open-source projects that are part of the Eclipse IoT ecosystem – more info at http://iot.eclipse.org

Join the hangout to learn more about how to use IoT protocols like MQTT, and projects like Mihini, to connect all ze thingz!

In the meantime, you can find Benjamin on Twitter (@kartben) and his blog: http://blog.benjamin-cabe.com

and ...

Don't forget to rate Corona Geek on iTunes:

The original weekly G+ Hangout dedicated to mobile app development using Corona SDK.
Introduction
Tune in every Monday at 2pm Central.

Corona Geek is the official weekly Google+ Hangout focused on mobile app development using Corona SDK.

Each week we discuss topics along side new and veteran Corona Developers and third party Corona tool creators with the goal of helping Corona Developers better understand app creation, app monetization, app marketing, and app analytics.

As developers ourselves, we know these topics are essential to an app developers success and we believe the Corona SDK is the best app development tool to make it all happen.

Wanna be on the show or get your app reviewed? Hit us up on G+, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube. Just look for CoronaGeek and tell us what's on your mind.

or email CoronaGeek@CoronaLabs.com
