It's a question that we hear asked every now and then, so we thought we'd share our informed answer alongside details of how at Cornish Rock Tors we manage our sessions for safety and train for all eventualities:

It's National Marine Week until the 7th of August (it's really more of a fortnight), and around the country there are lots of events happening to share the wonders of our coasts.

Check out our latest blog post to find out how you can join us this summer to learn more about the marine life, both big and small, that lives in the seas and rockpools of Cornwall.

It's a great morning to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors!

Here's Rob committing to one of our favourite jumps on a coasteering session around Port Gaverne earlier this morning.

The sun may have hidden itself behind a cloud today, but there are now foxgloves in bloom along the cliff tops to brighten up the view as you paddle past!

The weather conditions this week have been great for our activities. Both #coasteering and #kayaking have proved very popular. Need some inspiration? The jumps are optional you know.... Get into it. #getoutdoors

There are “secluded” beaches, and then there are beaches that you can’t even get to on foot. We’ll take you to the latter.

Dolphin Alert!

Our coasteering guide Joe was out on his boat on the South Coast last week and had a visit from a friendly pod of dolphins.  We think it's some of the best footage that we've seen that isn't on a +BBC Earth  documentary, and it's amazing to see them in Cornish waters already.

We are excited to announce that we have just openined the doors of our new North Cornwall base at our coasteering and sea kayaking venue at Port Gaverne.

From now on EVERYTHING will happen just a few steps away from the sea’s edge at Port Gaverne. It will be easier for you, and more enjoyable. You can turn up, get changed, and then simply stroll down to the water’s edge. Brilliant.

We look forward to welcoming you there.
