THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! ANYTHING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY! READ THE LEASE AGREEMENT IN FULL!!! There are in so many things hidden between the lines that they will take advantage of. For example they require you to give 60 days notice if you're renewing your lease. They will send you an email a day before the 60 days. I was never given my renewal rate, so I spent a week going back and forth trying to negotiate my rent. I finally decided i wasn't going to stay. I am being charged a month to month day rate for the 7 days i went over 60 days!! which turned out to be $700!!!!!! Listen to these reviews!! I'm trying to save you!! This place tried to raise my rent $180 per month when it was time to renew my lease. I've lived in NYC for over 6 years and never paid more than $50 to renew my lease! The management misleads you, they will tell you there are policies and make you pay for things that aren't true. Elevators are always broken. Gym is worse that a high school gym. cockroaches in elevators and common areas. Fire alarms always going off. Seriously don't bother. I know they have low rent rates and as a young adult thats was made me rent here. But I would have paid $100 more to have been in any other place that this. Also in the small print in the lease they state that you will be paying for carpet cleaning and painting after you leave. so its 100% guaranteed that you won't get your security deposit back.

Two main issues with this place: 1. I moved out in June and still have not received my security deposit (it's now September), which is a significant sum of money. By Connecticut law landlords are required to return the security deposit within one month of moving-out. It seems from other online reviews that this is not uncommon for them to withhold the security deposit for several months for no good reason. 2. My unit had a massive roach infestation upon moving in (they were kind enough to switch me to a nicer unit without raising the rent, however). In the new unit I would have only one or two small roaches per month.

Long story short - They have a HUGE COCKROACH INFESTATION! The trash chutes are always broken and the place is a mess (except for when they make it appear nice during office hours when renters come). Parking will be an extra $100 unless you can just find a spot and never move from it again. Oh and they only treat the kitchen for roaches, only sometimes and it doesn't do any good because they don't make you move anything out of cupboards. We got out as quick as possible. They make a lot of money off of people wanting to move out early due to uncleanliness - this is why it's advertised so cheap.

STAY AWAY! DO NOT RENT HERE! RUN AWAY!!!! WHEN I WAS LIVING HERE, security problems: Someone came up to my roommate's apartment window and was STARING IN at her at 2AM. She woke up and saw him looking in to our apartment, she screamed he ran away. We called the police and told the leasing office. She was so shaken up that she didn't even want to stay there, she went to a hotel. We told the leasing office and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Didn't even address our safety concerns. NOTHING AT ALL. The apartment units SMELL. BAD. Yes my 2 bedroom was a pretty large size and in an OK location, but NOT WORTH IT.. I GOT SCAMMED! I only had my apartment for a short lease of 3 months. 6 months after I moved out, I got a collections call..NO IDEA what it was for. They tell me it's from Cornerstone at Bedford. I call the leasing office and ask what is going on? They tell me that I owe them money for carpet cleaning because there were paint stains all over the carpet when I moved out. I lived there for 3 months, didn't paint a thing, didn't even HAVE paint, I had all rental furniture. I asked for an invoice of the cleaning charge and photo evidence of the stains. They told me for weeks that they were coming to me. They never did. When I asked why I was never notified of the charges before collections they told me it was because they didn't have my forwarding addresss....they had my phone number why didn't they call me? No answer to that question. Finally after a few weeks of waiting they tell me that the employee who took the photos of the carpet stains had since left the apartment and took all the evidence with him. WHAT? What kind of excuse is that? THEN they proceeded to send me a FAKE carpet cleaning invoice. From a FAKE company in NEW JERSEY. I called the phone number on the invoice and it was a PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER of some random person! When I tried to Google the carpet cleaning company, not one listing appears with that name or in New Jersey. Great job Cornerstone, you are AWFUL scam artists. Your management is laughable. I hope NO ONE ever leases from this property again.

Never ever rent any unit in this complex. Rents are very high and no maintenance, no security. Management is worst and they always want money. Parking is the worst in the whole Stamford city.

Well I'd take a picture of the used condom sitting on the floor but I can't .. Or the one in on the 2nd floor . oh both have sat there 2weeks more . maintenance spends more time cleaning their cars on the grounds and not cleaning.this place has bad bug issues air issues and the neighbors are horribly loud. Nobody cares here at all seemingly... food or daipers left on the elevators. None of the staff have control over anything. Don't rent here unless you have to. I will never rent again from this entire area. Not one place has any respect for the tenants.

Horrible. Read the agreement well.
