We brought our Focus in for a service at 8am. Wondering when the car would be ready, I called at about 4pm and had to call numerous times before getting an answer (10mins). I was then connected from the Edgware customer services to the parts area and then an outside line, where I was informed I would have to recall. Once again, it took 4-5 calls (10mins) before the phone was answered. I was then told my car would be ready and I would be called within the hour. At about 6.10 I decided to call back, worried as I had an appointment in the morning. I was told that they'd forgotten to call me as there was only one person on the desk. Instead of receiving an apology from the member of staff, I was told by a member of staff at Trust Ford Edgware 'not to feel bad' as they would stay there until we came to get their cars ( They were open until 7pm anyhow). I would imagine if I'd not called our car would have been left there overnight. We arrived at 6.30 and mentioned the situation and received an apology albeit a very apathetic one. The lack of service, care for customers, interest and overall attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I would be very sceptical to purchase a car new or used from this garage, if they can't get simple basics of a call back correct.
