Well now, I saw in between the lines that +Mashable either missed or ignored. This woman was forced to choose between her morales or her job. She chose the hi road (pun intended) and went out with a bang.

More likely, she was outed and about to be fired for her personal beliefs, that had no bearing on her job. So what if she reported on marijuana issues in the state? As long as those reports were fair I don't see why it was even brought up in the article.

Funny how the station terminated her after she quit. Sad that she gave them such an easy out, and sacrificed her creditability at the same time.

"I - the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club - will be dedicating all of my energy for fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska."
One reporter for Anchorage, Alaska’s KTVA news became the news after quitting live on air to dedicate herself to the legalization of marijuana in Alaska.
