I can't believe I'm using Justin Bieber in a post, but yes, I find his "comeback" very interesting and (so far) well planned. See what tips brands can use to make a comeback of their own.
I'm not a Justin Bieber fan, but his journey has been an interesting one to watch. Brands in trouble should pay attention to Bieber's recent behavior because he's modeling how to make a comeback after some near-disastrous missteps.Brands these days can easily and quickly fall from grace with one social media blunder. Pile on a product recall, having your food sicken people or pets, or an embarrassing affair by a CEO, and your brand may not recove...

Sad to see Chase Utley go, but also happy that at least he went to my #2 team, the Dodgers! I only wish Cole Hamels had too. #Phillies

On a side note, Ruben Amaro, Jr., is definitely not the man. Someone please fire him.
How do you sum up the career of a Phillies legend in a single cartoon?

If you haven't been to a #WordCamp you must go. I had to miss this year's in Philly, but as you can see from Liam's post, it is a fantastic event!

In case you wanted to revisit #wcphilly one more time, I shared my thoughts on my experience as a co-organizer of WordCamp Philly 2015. http://liamdempsey.com/wordcamp-philly-2015/
As it’s been a full month since the work, excitement and rush of organizing WordCamp Philly 2015, I wanted to share a few thoughts about my experiences in 2015. A Good Planning Team Works Magic WordCamp 2015 was the second year that I was privileged to be a part of the organizing team for Philadelphia’s …

I am a curious person by nature, so thought I would love this book. It could've been better. Here's my review...
Brian Grazer, movie producer (Splash, Apollo 13, 8 Mile, A Beautiful Mind, etc.), lives a very interesting life filled with what he calls “curiosity conversations.” So he wrote a book, “A Curious...

“Excellence only comes with not being afraid of who you are. To learn to speak your truth honestly with a clear voice takes lots of practice, and every trick in the book to keep you going down the arduous, cruel, lonely, glorious path of a writer.”

Love this quote...for all writers out there.

Great list for beginning content marketers
According to the Content Marketing Institute’s 2015 Benchmarks, Budgets and Trends report, only 35% of B2B marketers and 27% of B2C marketers have a documented content strategy. Not surprisingly, those marketers who have a documented strategy also report being more effective in their content marketing efforts? So why do so many marketers skip this step? Oftentimes, they

LinkedIn is doing this terrific "State of My Industry" series asking influencers and experts to write posts on their industries. They also asked the rest of us to participate, so I added my post on marketing yesterday.

You can read all the posts here.LinkedIn also asked the rest of us to join in the discussion and answer the following questions: If you could do it over again, would you pick the same industry? What opportunities might your industry offer students and career-changers? What skills sho...

Who doesn't love the ocean? Let's all do something to protect our oceans and make them healthier again this #WorldOceansDay
It’s World Oceans Day and some of the most stunning underwater photos you'll see are taken in the Great Barrier Reef. The largest living thing on Earth, the Reef stretches over 2,600 kilometers, has over 900 islands and can even be seen from outer space.

+Marabastad Pretoria The Great Barrier Reef has needed help for a while. It's disappointing to hear Australia is not doing more. Nice though to hear about Belize. Maybe others can learn from them.

Introduction
Welcome to my Google+ page! For those who don't know me (and some who do), my name is pronounced exactly as it is spelled (CORE-een, rhymes with Colleen). Now that we've got that out of the way, please don't be shy to introduce yourself too.

These are the things I'll be talking about and looking for on Google+. I'm listing them here in case you want to circle me and chat--you'll know what kind of circle to put me in..

I will also chime in on politics here and there, though I try not to do that too much in social media. Although, you probably will catch me sharing more info about the environment and non-GMO foods--things I don't consider politics but wish were common sense.

The more info I see about you on your profile, the easier it will be for me to put you in the right circle. That way, you'll miss anything I post that's not of your interest.

I look forward to connecting. Google+ is a great place!

Today was my first visit to this Pep Boys and I have to say it was an excellent first visit. I knew I needed new tires and then I got a nail in one over the weekend so had to get tires fast. I went online Sunday night to compare prices and found Pep Boys offered a competitive price, plus I ordered everything online on Pep Boys site and made an appointment for Monday. The check-in process was pretty quick because of that. Brandon told me it would take an hour to an hour an a half and he was right. Every person I came in contact with--Brandon, Zach, Tevin, Dallas and the mechanic Joey (and another guy who helped me)--were super-friendly and very customer service oriented. Thanks guys!

So far, I've had one private session and 5 classes, and my experience has been wonderful. I've had classes with 3 or 4 different instructors and all have been terrific! Bodies by Pilates now has two locations--Phoenixville and Creamery. Both are very clean and easy to get to. The Creamery one is larger, with two big rooms. I find scheduling to be easy because I don't have to worry about which location to go to or which instructor I get--they all have similar caring attitudes toward the clients. As a beginner to Pilates, I feel comfortable going at a pace that fits me, and the instructors are extremely helpful.
