For  years, US farmers have had to purchase foreign produce Urea, a form of nitrogen fertilizer. The cost of this product produced overseas led to wide swings in prices and availability. With US prices for natural gas falling, US fertilizer producers have developed capacity to a point that in a couple of years, US farmers will be able to purchase domestic supplies. A big win for US farmers!
