Wow
Fresh Aloe Vera Summer Salad

Aloe Vera facilitates digestion and helps to rid the body of toxins. It has cooling and soothing properties. It improves the functioning of the kidneys, liver and gall bladder. It is also good for the skin. Aloe is used widespread in topical treatments but is also good taken internally in juice and salads.
Important: Pregnant women and young children (below five) are advised against taking aloe internally. I am sure google has the explanations as to why.

A cooling fresh salad for the hot summer days. This is my brunch after my long morning walk!
Ingredients :
1 leaf on Aloe vera
2 tsp basil seeds, soaked in 3 Tbsp water till plump
1 apple, peeled and diced
10 strawberries, chopped
2 mandarin oranges(seedless), chopped
a handful of blueberries
2 Tbsp rose water
2 Tbsp chopped fresh mint

Method :
Cut the ridge off of the aloe vera leaf and cut into sections.
Soak in water for 5-10 minutes.
Peel away the all the skin with care, as it can be bitter.
Continue to dice the gel-like flesh.
Toss everything together well and serve chilled.
Note : All the fruits I used had good sweetness to them .. If not sweet enough , I recommend a sprinkling of sugar or you could use agave nectar .

Allow to sit for a few minutes for the flavors to combine. However, make sure you serve quickly.. the aloe vera releases liquid if left for some time.. and the salad will get runny.
I want to get a good/better picture of this before I post it on my blog. I thought I would share it with my favorite foodies first :)

Beautiful that's all I have to sayπŸ‘ŒπŸ˜˜
Padampuri Murg is a Chicken delicacy from Padampur located in the princely state of Rajasthan in India.

Recipe link ~ http://mytrystwithfoodandtravel.blogspot.ae/2017/07/padampuri-murg-recipe-khoya-chicken.html

This is probably one of the creamiest chicken dishes that you might have ever tasted. The Khoya/Khoa or milk solids used to cook this dish is primarily responsible for the rich silky texture of it's gravy. Along with yogurt and pure desi Ghee (clarified butter) added generously, this dish is not at all for the faint hearted . The indigenous spice mix which is added to the curry is resplendent with fiery red chilies, black cumin (kalonji) and other spices that gives the dish a perfect balance of flavours, a unique taste and a light lingering aroma. One spoonful in your mouth and your taste buds will dance to the power house of flavours which makes this dish truly befitting to be served at any Royal fare.
