The West Point Society of Central Florida presented award-winning #PATH to #FREEDOM: My Story of #Perseverance to #General #Caslen at #Founders #Day Dinner on March 17, 2017 in Orlando. The #Superintendent of the #United #States #Military #Academy capped off the annual celebration with an engaging, informative keynote address. Alumni, family, friends, and cadet candidates gathered that evening gave the distinguished American a rousing ovation. Honored that our Society selected PATH to FREEDOM as a momento for such an important occasion.

My son, Conrad, announced the addition of #TayloredDwellings.com to his #real estate business in the #Scottsdale, #Arizona area, today. It is an information-rich website, which makes it easy for #buyers, #sellers, and #investors, alike, to gather information and engage a knowledgeable real estate #broker. I am proud to share this press release, should your needs include real estate in Scottsdale and surrounding communities.

The #Cuffy Monument commands a prominent place in #Georgetown, which is the capital of #Guyana - the only English-speaking country in #South America.

In 1763, Cuffy led a revolt of more than 2,500 slaves working on sugar plantations in the #Berbice region. The monument commemorates their struggles to shed the shackles of slavery in colonial #British Guiana (now Guyana). That turbulent #history informs the trials, tribulations, and triumphs threaded through #award-winning #PATH to FREEDOM: My Story of Perseverance.

XMAS 1969 - Quite fuzzy, this photo was taken in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on my last day of #Christmas vacation visiting two high school friends attending #Queens University there. One of the cherished memories of that break from the rigors of #West Point is described in Chapter 15 of #award-winning PATH to FREEDOM: My Story of Perseverance. Our valiant attempt at cooking Christmas Dinner that bitter-cold December #1969 was a fiasco. See www.tcfbusgroup.com for more..

A fellow 2014 #Readers' Favorite International Book Award winner, Mikael Carlson, author of iCandidate, just emailed me the photo below. PATH to #FREEDOM is currently on display at the #Miami Book Fair. Mikael was kind enough to photograph it, when he visited the Readers' Favorite Contest winners' booth today. The event exposes the book to attendees from all over the world. Thanks for your continuing support!
