The display of the new Retina iMac — the first wide gamut display made by Apple — is based on the P3 color space. But most wide gamut displays are based on Adobe RGB. What does this mean for creative work? I take a closer look: http://bit.ly/iMacP3lk
The Late 2015 Retina iMac uses the first wide gamut display that Apple has made for a Mac. I take a closer look at this new display in an article on my blog.

You can sketch layouts on an iPad using the Adobe Comp CC app, then send them directly to InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator as fully editable documents. Read my Adobe Comp workflow article in issue 77 (September 2015) of InDesign Magazine: http://bit.ly/IDmag77

Still clinging to Photoshop CS6? Adobe says Camera Raw 9.1.1 will be the last Camera Raw that's compatible with CS6. When new cameras come out that aren't supported in Camera Raw 9.1.1, you'll still be able to use their raw files with Camera Raw in Photoshop CS6, but first you'll have to convert them to DNG using the free DNG Converter. http://bit.ly/ACRforCS6
In order to pursue further innovations in image processing and workflow technology, the next release of Adobe Camera Raw (v 9.1.1) will be the final version available for use with CS6. Customers can utilize the free Adobe DNG Converter utility…

How much does Lightroom benefit from adding CPU cores vs more GHz? Interesting tests by custom computer builder Puget Systems: http://bit.ly/LR6pgtCPU
With hundreds of CPU models available, it can be a daunting task to determine which CPU will give you the best performance in Lightroom. In this article we will be examining the multi-threading capabilities of Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6 to determine whether a CPU with a high frequency or a CPU with a high core count will give you the best possible performance.

How do you feel about Adobe Bridge? An Adobe Creative Workflow Specialist has posted a survey looking for your opinions. Personally I find Bridge useful for managing file formats that Lightroom doesn’t handle. http://blogs.adobe.com/jlockman/2015/03/30/creative-workflow-specialist-seeking-data-on-well-creative-workflows/

My Adobe Comp CC article for InDesign Magazine is now free to read, via +Adobe! (http://bit.ly/CmpAIf) With Adobe Comp CC you can sketch layouts on an iPad using gestures, then send those layouts to +Adobe Photoshop, +Adobe InDesign, or +Adobe Illustrator as production-ready files.

Many applications use the Return/Enter key as a shortcut. If you use an extended keyboard you have two Enter keys, but they don't always do the same thing in programs like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. I talk about the differences in my new article for CreativePro: http://bit.ly/2EnKysCP
Don't ignore that other Enter key on your numeric keypad. It may give you more options for boosting your productivity in creative software.

Many users protested after Adobe moved the Save for Web command to a submenu in Photoshop CC 2015. In response, Adobe created the new Export Helper add-on panel so you can open Save for Web and other export options in one click:

Whoa, I wish more companies published detailed, point by point breakdowns of why they make changes like this.

I'm no great lover of Adobe but, wow, this is just such a great response. Breaks down in detail exactly why they moved it, where they moved it, why they added the (legacy) label, what their plans are for the future of the feature, and how those features will be implemented/organized moving forward.

Good job guys, +1.
