Anybody have a post they'd like to share on our blog? I will try to get back to posting there soon. I have a retreat this weekend, then I need to do catch-up on my SpiritualDirection posts.

Connie's Publishing Journey  -

I just removed Trusting God with St. Therese from KDP Select and uploaded it to StreetLib. StreetLib is an ebook distributor from Italy. They distribute your book on Google Play (which you can no longer get into on your own) and all the placed D2D reaches, plus many smaller international online stores. Recently they linked up with BabelCube, so that if you have your book translated it will automatically be distributed to many foreign markets. So I am now trying to find a Spanish translator on BabelCube. My Amazon ebook sales have sunk to their lowest point yet, so I thought "going wide" was worth a try now.

Last Fall I removed A Spiritual Growth Plan for Your Choleric Child from KDP Select and uploaded it to D2D. I have only sold one ebook through them. However, this is a very slow seller on Amazon too. It sells better as a paperback. TGwST has done well in all formats, so I'm eager to see how it works outside KDP Select. I'll keep you posted.

No, they sell ebooks alongside their video games, etc. But they no longer accept new authors. There are just 2 international companies that have a contract with them for automatically getting ebooks into Google Play, and StreetLib is one. Some authors say they do better on Google Play than anywhere else, including Amazon. We'll see.

Welcome, all newbies coming to us after the CWCO! I am taking a step back from a lot of extra writing duties during Lent, so I'm not posting here as much as usual for the next few weeks. But we've got lots of back posts you can read. Please introduce yourself and add your books, if appropriate.

Introduction
I am a Catholic wife and mother of four boys, dedicated to prayer and to teaching my children to pray. I am the author of Trusting God with St. Therese, A Spiritual Growth Plan for Your Choleric Child, and Is Centering Prayer Catholic? I developed my own homeschooling method to foster a contemplative lifestyle. I blog on that and Carmelite spirituality for adults at Contemplative Homeschool. I also own the Google+ Community Indie Catholic Authors.

I wrote the e-book Five Lessons from the Carmelite Saints That Will Change Your Life. You can download it free for your Kindle or Nook.
