{Who I am is inspired by where I've been}

Hi, I'm Conni and I am free.

I believe in freedom for everyone in everything.

I'm a travel blogger running Planet Backpack and digital nomad roaming the world.

I write about unconventional, simple living and world travel on A Life of Blue.
Why? Because I want to spread the freedom lifestyle and help you achieve it, too.

How do I do it?
  1. Living simply and owning little.
  2. Having a vagabond’s mindset.
  3. Standing up for my opinions and beliefs.
  4. Seeing through consumerism, marketing, and strategies of exploitation.
  5. Passing by the media gatekeepers through conscious choices for consumption and by spreading my messages via blogging.
  6. Doing the things I love.
I don't like the status quo. I don't want to live a life that is lived by the masses. One that makes me do things I don't want to do and makes me live up to society's expectations.
I want to live MY life. I want to do good. And I want to live all around the world, forever.

Would you like to come along for the ride? You can, right here.

I've stayed in looooads of hostels around the world and I mean it when I say that the Travellers House was one of the very best. Several things that made my stay remarkable: - lovely setup in the house, great chill out and couch areas - lovely backyard - the vibe!! super chilled out and relaxed - great staff, very personal and just super lovely - awesome comfy beds with personal fan and light - very clean and taken care of I just felt so welcome there every minute of my stay. This place has personality, and a lot of love and attention goes into it. You feel it. The guys running and taking care of the place are so wonderful and do an amazing job to make this hostel a special place. Keep the spirit alive!
