Meet one of our visitors, Hank! This poor guy was diagnosed with hypertrophic osteodystrophy, which is a condition that affects the growth plates and occurs primarily in large to giant breed dogs. It tends to occur in pups that have fast growth spurts. Hank had painful joints, a fever, and was limping. According to Dr. Koirala, he greatly improved with NSAIDs, rest, and supportive care including hand feeding and maintaining hydration. He is now acting completely normal! We are so happy for him and his family! #conejovet #petcare #animalsfirst #healthypets

Happy Tuesday everyone! Meet one of our visitors named Nellie! She was abandoned at a cement company, and was taken to the Simi shelter where she was adopted by her new family. She had a lot of sun damage, and and her fur was very matted with sticks stuck inside. However, she looked and felt so happy after her visit with Kristen, one of our groomers! If you are interested in having your pet groomed, call us to schedule an appointment at (805) 495-4671.
