Spring Leaf Collection begins Monday, April 25, 2016 and will continue through June 4, 2016 (excluding weekends). #ConcordNH residents with curbside trash and recycling collection can place an unlimited amount of leaves and grass clippings curbside by 7AM on their trash collection day for disposal. Residents participating in Spring Leaf Collection must use biodegradable yard waste bags or labeled rigid containers. Unacceptable items, including plastic bags, will not be accepted.

Concord residents who do not have curbside trash and #recycling collection, or who wish to take care of their own leaves, may bring their leaves to Earth Materials Recycling Center for free (with proof of residency) if the load is smaller than a non-commercial pick-up truck. Earth Materials Recycling Center's new business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM and 8:00AM to 12:00PM on Saturdays during Spring Leaf Collection. Hours are weather dependent and are subject to change; please call ahead to confirm specific drop-off times at (603) 545-4835.

Visit www.concordnh.gov/leafcollection and watch our video below for more information:

Due to warmer than usual temperatures and decent weather, Concord #spring road load limits are officially lifted. Any frost in the roads is gone and ditches are dried up enough for our sign crew to remove postings today. We appreciate all the cooperation to help prevent any excess damage to Concord's roads during the spring thaw. #ConcordNH

We are offering FREE Toilet Dye Test Kits (while supplies last) at our Utility Billing office at 311 North State Street in #ConcordNH to encourage Concord #water consumers to find and fix household leaks in celebration of the EPA WaterSense Program’s Fix A Leak Week (March 14-20, 2016). A leaky faucet, showerhead, toilet, or irrigation system may seem harmless, but can waste 11,000 gallons of water each year in an average household! Most leaks can be easily fixed. Fixing leaks can reduce water consumption and potentially save money on utility bills. Be sure to get your free Toilet Dye Test Kit at our office to perform a quick and easy leak test on your toilet and watch our “How To Detect A Toilet Leak” video below for additional instructions. #FixALeak

Visit www.concordnh.gov/leaks for more information and instructions on how to perform household leak detection and learn more about the EPA WaterSense Program by visiting www.concordnh.gov/watersense.
