It's important to remember, the primary point of eating is to nourish our bodies. It's SO very easy to forget when (insert favorite food of choice) is calling your name. When we begin using food primarily as a source of entertainment and pleasure, we often times find ourselves consuming processed foods filled with toxic food additives. In doing that, we are failing to honor our bodies by nourishing them with the nutrient rich foods we need to thrive.
