85% of Digital Marketers Publish Videos on YouTube [DATA]

Video is one of the search marketing trends to look forward to in 2017. Even the experts say that visual content, including video, will go big in the coming year.

According to a survey sent out to Search Engine Journal’s Twitter audience, 85% of respondents publish their videos on YouTube, 11% publish on Facebook, 4% publish elsewhere, and none publish on Vimeo. These results show that YouTube is still king when it comes to video.

Google announced on Monday it is extending its efforts to make mobile tagging easier via Google Tag Manager with the support for Accelerated Mobile Pages - AMP WP.

#GoogleTagManager can now be used with AMP, which the company explains can be useful to marketers who have tagging needs beyond a basic page view. Google already had in place a few simple methods of measuring AMP pages in Google Analytics, but this update takes it a step further.

In addition to #Google Analytics, AMP containers in Google Tag Manager also extend to advertising platforms such as Google AdWordsand @DoubleClick.
