The foundation of a former CBS president has donated $39 million to the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Frank Stanton led CBS from 1946 to 1971 and died in 2006. Upon his death his former network called him “the master builder of CBS,” and he was largely responsible for the first televised presidential debate, between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy, in October 1960.
