We do get presentation and artistry, but blow $ 500 for a bite it's a bit much. We might be less refined but we know how to feed you !!!!

My mum could throw that spoon like three yards and still get me with the precision of an olympian !! No real pain, more ike the drama of it.  By the way that is a risotto with champagne, oranges, and imported taleggio.

Originally from Caltanissetta, Sicily "i cannoli" are a long and painfull process involving #ricotta,  sugar and caramelized oranges. Now the question is : did the nuns or the Emirates Saracens came up with the recepie ???

Great food. Especially the Uovo Pizza is awesome with the "secret white sauce" with the runny egg! The gnocchi is to die for. I dropped a star for dessert (salted caramel which was waaay over the top salty... c'mon its a dessert some sugar would be nice here). It gets crowded so make a reservation.

First, love the fact that they don't charge corkage. Second, absolutely love their calamari steak!! Very tender with just the right amount of seasoning in my opinion. Not a huge fan of their pastas, but I still give this place a 4 star because I personally love their casual atmosphere. They could improve on the seating though... Very crowded when the house is full.

Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and lasagna had lots of flavor. However the cheesecake was awful. It looked, tasted and felt like a pound cake. The only downside I found to this place was that it was pricey so its definitely a restaurant to go to on a special occasion; keep in mind the place is not fancy at all and small/tight.

I heard so many good things about Colori. I'm sad to report that it was overhyped and overpriced for what it is. Food: 1) Burrata - can you really go wrong with burrata? 2) Pesto Spaghetti - it was good, but not worth the money. Service: The servers were friendly and provided great service. Parking: Street parking on 8th street in front of Colori. It's free after 6:00 or 7:00. You'll have to double check.

So I had a pretty rocky start and was ready to give this place one star because they CANCELLED my reservation for no reason and without even notifying me. So I was already unhappy when I came during my reservation time to find out that my name and table wasn't even reserved or even on the computer system. Luckily, we got a table after we waited for a few minutes right away. So I was a little bit happier after that. There are two reasons why I wanted to try this place. REASON 1...Bring your own wine and beer! So I had two bottles ready for our feast. REASON 2...the cioppino! So I had to order their famous cioppino, no matter what. MAN I WAS IN LOVE. The taste and flavor, so rich and no really seafood smelly. The sauce was so sweet and delicious, I want more! The prime rib was nothing special, very dry and disappointing. The spaghetti with pesto sauce was very good. We also got another one of their famous pasta dishes, the damage was done with 35 dollars per person. This place is good, no doubt. The only real complaint I have is the food takes a really long time to come out. We probably waited at least 30 minutes till our first dish came out. They need faster ticket times! TIP: THERE is always street parking in the front! If you want a drink, stop by the bar next door too!

Great food and a great atmosphere. A small hole in the wall place that makes some of the best Italian food in Los Angeles.

Great food and friendly attentive service. You can bring your own bottle of wine last I checked. Definitely recommended for casual dining. Cons: limited drink selection and 18% mandatory gratuity added to our party of 5 bill.
