Visit tomorrow's parade, flyover, pancake breakfast and the rendezvous at the restored Fort Lancaster where mountain men and Plains Indians camp as they did in the 1830s. https://bitly.com/1DnAOtR #fortlupton #trapperdays #colorado #mountainmen http://ow.ly/i/I9q9p http://ow.ly/i/I9q9y http://ow.ly/i/I9q93

In the 20th century, baseball teams played at the Uravan Ballpark in a town that once was the uranium capitol of the West but no longer exists. Now the field hosts the annual Uravan Reunion Picnic, happening this Saturday, where former residents return to celebrate homecoming. http://ow.ly/i/HPBap http://ow.ly/i/HPBaE http://ow.ly/i/HPBaY

Colorado’s tart-cherry production is a fraction of what it once was but we tracked down stores where you can still find tart cherries at: http://www.coloradolifemagazine.com/Cherries/
and make recipes like the State Champion Cherry Pie in our current issue: https://bitly.com/1DnAOtR. http://ow.ly/i/Hyv6H http://ow.ly/i/Hyv6U

It's hard enough to sing opera at sea level, but try belting an aria at 8,510 feet. The performers at Central City Opera House defy altitude and the show goes on. We visited the historic landmark and caught up with performers in our July/August edition (https://bitly.com/1DnAOtR). http://ow.ly/i/Hekwr http://ow.ly/i/HekwG http://ow.ly/i/HekwQ

This weekend is full of Colorado summer fun. In Craig, chainsaw-wielding sculptors complete masterpieces before tomorrow's judging (and a Big Head Todd & the Monsters concert). In Colorado Springs, drag racers take over an airport tarmac at the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack. You can find events like these in every issue's Go.See.Do section: https://bitly.com/1DnAOtR http://ow.ly/i/GcvWm
