CMC is the third community college that I have attended and is, by far, the best educational experience I've had thus far. What makes the Timberline campus different from any other school is the immense amount of forest on the property, which holds miles of groomed cross-country ski trails and even a snowboard park. Combine that with the knowledgeable staff that double as outdoor instructors and it's clear that CMC Timberline rocks.

Came out to this small town of 4,000 from a drastically different city situation: Miami, FL. Having never lived or even seen snow in my entire life I got to say I am really enjoing my time up here. What I really love about this campus compared to all the others that I visisted was the people, the staff, the students, the coworkers. They are all there for you and willing to bend over backwards to get you what you need. This sort of hospitality I haven't seen anywhere else. One thing to be weary about is there is not really anything to do up here. So unless you have a sport that you dedicate multiple days of training to, be prepared to sit inside a lot /:

I loved this school when I attended for drawing classes, ceramics classes, and some basic credit classes between 2006-2008. After CMC I went on to get a BA and an MA at the University of Colorado. They helped me get the jump on some credits during the summer.

Timberline is a great campus with its backyard terrain park and 18-hole frisbee golf course. The staff here are all very friendly and with small class sizes you really get to know your teachers. I loved going to school here and would do it all over again.

CMC Leadville is a great place to go to school. The faculty and staff are the best. They all go out of their way to help and are very concerned if you succeed. Ive studied at four other community colleges Timberline is the best yet.

After many years of attending CMC I feel confident in providing accurate feedback about the school. CMC provided me with an education that has now given me the confidence to pursue meaningful work within my community. I know that many CMC students move out of their campus community after graduation, but this is not the case for myself. Wouldn't it be great if the school was able to retain more graduates in the community??? As a non-traditional student and enrolled in one of the new bachelors programs, CMC administration worked with me to satisfy all requirements, even if that meant holding very small classes or even independent studies. I was also able to take many of my classes online. One negative comment would be that communication from administration can be slow or non-existent from time to time. Overall my teachers were excellent and skilled in their fields. I enjoyed my time at CMC and feel lucky that I was able to receive a college education in a community of 7K people.
