I have been involved with Colorado Mountain College since I was in high school. It has helped me get ahead in my higher education. I stayed enrolled after I graduated high school and finished my Associates. I am now starting up to finish my four year degree there! It has been an amazing experience and I am lucky to have it in my backyard! Would highly reccomend anyone to take any type of class here, its wonderful.

I enjoyed the convenience of the internet classes. It helped me to work towards my teaching certification. The format was the most convenient I have used so far. My professor was very helpful and always available.

I love CMC. For me it worked well because they had classes at night and they have a tone of online courses offered which is great. I almost have my two year degree from them, all of the teachers and counselors are very helpful and willing to work with you if you need it. over all a great school thats very convenient and helpful.

One of the only community colleges that offers a 4 year degree in Business or Culinary Arts. Located in one of the most serene places of Colorado, the Rockies give this school an ambiance that can't be beat. We don't have the extra stuff like college football teams or soccer but we pride ourselves on just being able to attend. First focus would be to teach you to grow in your endeavors in life and our second focus is to improve the lives of the surrounding community through education. Best campus I have attended would be the Eagle/Vail campus located in Edwards.

Colorado Mountain College has made it possible for me to work my current full time job and attend school online getting a degree so that I can start working in healthcare. I have learned in every class I have taken. The teachers and course work have all been challenging. The staff have been helpful in helping me to chose classes each semester and staying on track. I plan to take more classes in the future for both continued education and some for fun.

I am currently attending Colorado Mountain College- Spring Valley and so far I absolutely love it. The Campus is beautiful, the people are super friendly and most of the staff are extremely helpful. The financial aid department could use a tune up due to lack of organization but other than that I highly recommend CMC to anyone and everyone!

I am 56 years old, for the last five semesters I have been attending Colorado Mountain College in Buena Vista, Colorado. Some of their classes are offered in Salida, and makes it easier for me to attend. I have enjoyed the various teachers throughout these few semesters and also found it enjoyable to learn new things. I also appreciate that as an older student I am treated as an equal by both students and faculty. After one more semester and a summer class I will graduate with my Associate of Arts. I wish to move on and work on a Bachelor's degree in business, to do this at CMC would be a plus.

CMC has shaped and guided my life in so many positive directions there's not enough room here to explain. The sum of it is that the BASS program (Bachelors of Arts in Sustainability Studies) is an amazing, holistic education that I think should be taught for every high school curriculum in the U.S. We would then see positive change quickly in light of environmental well-being and balancing the many needs of all interests and demands on finite ecosystems. Sustainability incorporates the 3 Es into every decision we make, in a systems thinking perspective; the 3 Es are Environment, Economics and social Equity. Anyway, CMC has teachers that surpass many University Instructors and the classroom size is unbeatable, unless you consider the affordability. I have spoken with many students who went the "Big School" direction, only to become unfulfilled and return to CMC where they felt and embraced the more intimate and individual experience. Between 2 classes last semester I had 9 field labs; that's 9 days outside learning (1 was canceled due to weather or it would have been 10); It was a stupendous experience! My eyes were opened to beautiful detail and revealing interconnections I never knew existed. The University experience will most likely get you no field labs because the classes are too large, especially not 10 days in one semester walking around learning in our amazing local landscapes. If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of CMC. I went through the EMT-Basic program, Avi-1 and 2, Guitar 1, Quick-books, and at CMC they don't even charge you the Bachelors level prices, when you get into that program, for subsequent lower level classes; they charge you for the price range of the class, not your status as a student. Again, you won't get that at a large school. Well, that's enough fawning over Colorado Mountain College. I love it and highly recommend it! Thanks CMC :)
