Jarvis, 16.1: The TVDB scraper's changelog now says that it requires Krypton
"1.8.4
- Added: Runtime for tvshows - needs Krypton or newer"

How can this be fixed?

I looked a little more into the logs, it seems that the scraper expects a specific folder structure.

+Colin Harrington Yes I am using OpenJDK 7. I did not configure any special settings for the JVM (maybe except for the Tomcat heap size... will try to check that over the weekend...). So this is mainly a question of proper programming and usage of a good basic framework. As far as I can remember, I used an Apache JSF implementation. I do not run a database on the Pi, though.

I'm looking at the APA102's and considering FastLED.  Does it support parellell output for the APA102 aka dotstar LEDs?

However, multiple controllers is different from parallel output (parallel output gives you performance improvements from writing out the multiple lines in parallel vs. serially, one after the other)

There are some instructions here: http://kodi.wiki/view/Kodibuntu Basically the dist-upgrade did it for me. I may have had to do it a couple times to get to Jarvis

What would be a good color model to use for RGBW pixels?

I still can't help but think that adding yet another LED to these pixels is going to make temporal dithering more important for smooth color transitions & accuracy.  And then you run into the strip-length issue with ditherring (Driven by the 800khz bandwidth limit)
