Took a trip to Ardrossan the other day. Most of the trip along the coast was done in glorious sunshine with a marvellous view of Arran. It's just my luck that the sun was hidden when I go there. I did, however, manage to get this one shot from the top of Castle Hill.

Might have been good if the phone case hadn't slipped over the lens.

I took this one trying to get the coat of arms above the gateway and failed miserably. The result is still quite pleasing tho'.

At the risk of being flamed - when did the phrase "try and" become standard (mis)usage in the UK? I, like most , grew up hearing and using "try to" when saying something was to be attempted. Lately almost everyone seems to be saying that they were going to "try and" do something. Surely that would mean that they were going to attempt to do it AND they were going to succeed? In that case the "try" would be redundant. Wouldn't it?

Kept me hooked on the screen

This man turns juggling into an art form:
Michael Moschen puts on a quietly mesmerizing show of juggling. Don't think juggling is an art? You might just change your mind after watching Moschen in motion.

One of the most chilling stories I've read.
A short story about death, immortality, and continuity of being.
